“We booked a last minute short break with our dog Bear. The Railway Carriages was a lovely quirky place with a fabulous big fully enclosed garden which Bear loved. It was lovely and clean with comfy beds. Great location for New Forest and local beaches. We will definitely come again.”

“Hotel was in a good location and room was nice. A couple of the fittings need attention and the cleaners did not replace “consumables”. It is a self checkout so can’t rate the stafff. Overall a good stay”

“Having stayed in Hobbs Cottage last year, we chose Foxglove Cottage as we expected a similar standard - we were not disappointed! The cottage was clean, cosy and has everything you may need for your break. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. Logs for the fire were lovely as the nights are still a bit cold! The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Boot room is also great for all the outdoor shoes etc. Great location and visit to Ellies Farm Shop is a must for cake & coffee!”

“Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships.”
