I don’t usually leave reviews, but I want to share my experience to help other families. I booked a hotel stay from July 18 to 21, 2025. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were unwelcoming and didn’t provide information about breakfast or pool hours. Our room was at the end of the hallway on the second floor. Although it was labeled non-smoking, there was a strong smell of cigarettes, and the room felt outdated.
During our stay, my 3-year-old accidentally pulled the fire alarm out of curiosity. Sriren and maintenance came to the room, we explained what happened and apologized for the inconvenience, they showed sympathy and said there was no issue. But they could not reset the alarm. Fire department arrived and finally, the alarm was shut down. I did not hear anything else from them, we were tired from the drive went for dinner, and back to the hotel to sleep. The next morning we had the hotel breakfast which was a very poor selection, not eggs or orange juice. And then headed to our planned day. Around 10 AM I received a call from the front desk lady who was asking to charge my car on file $400, I asked why and she alleged that they submitted a claim to the insurance company and that the out-of-pocket cost was $800 dollar and they are willing to cover half of the amount as a courtesy. I could not hear her very well over the phone and told her we would discuss it when I get back to the hotel, she then told me that they needed the room by 3:00 as she has another guest coming.
