“Great welcome, nice and convenient location. Clean, quiet, updated room with a comfortable bed.”

“Orrore di albergo!!!”

“Great stay in a newly renovated room. Clean and comfortable. I have stayed before the renovation and will happily stay again.”

“Had the pleasure of meeting Christina (the owner). She was incredibly hospitable and kind. She gave us a little history of the sheep on the property. The cottage and village are beautiful. The attention to details of the decor was amazing. Quiet place, beautiful scenery, wonderful staff, clean, comfy cottage. I hope to return in the near future.”

“This is one of the best country inns we ever tried: charming, cozy and friendly. The atmosphere is authentic and warm, as are the owners. The country and the woods surrounding are great, even the breakfast is excellent! We loved the room and also the sitting room, full of beautiful books.”

The common areas were especially nice — comfortable and inviting, with a fireplace upstairs and a small kitchenette downstairs with a microwave, sink, and water dispenser, which was really convenient for warming up food. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and we loved being able to sit outside by the fire pit for a while. It was also perfect for...

“I got there a little early and was able to check in. Room was great. Price was great. Recommended if you're headed to the Putney/Brattleboro area.”
