Broadpath, Great Field Lodges - a lodge that sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom

  • Positioned just a few minutes drive from the wonderful Saunton Sands, this beautiful lodge has a bubbling hot tub, open plan living and contemporary decor, making it simply dreamy retreat on the North Devon Coast.

    One of just three luxury lodges on an exclusive site in Braunton, Broadpath is a one bedroom, pet friendly property with a huge veranda and oodles of airy, indoor space. The master bedroom is furnished with a luxurious king size bed that has its own modern en-suite bathroom. Timber accents and sumptuous soft furnishing give the room a welcoming atmosphere and huge floor to ceiling windows invite views from the garden inside, making it the perfect place to enjoy a lazy lie-in before heading to the beach for a day of exploration.

    The property's living area is a relaxing space and includes a large sofa as well as a table and seating for dining. Open plan with the kitchen, it's the ideal place to spend time in, whether it be to cook a favourite meal together or simply to onwind with a glass of wine and a movie. Accessed through french doors from the living room, the large, covered deck is furnished with a table and chairs, so warm summer evenings can be spent dining alfresco or enjoying a soak in the hot tub while waiting for the sun to set.

    Pets: 2 pets allowed, a fixed fee of £25 per dog for a short stay of 2-4 night stays and £40 per dog for a 7+ night stay is chargeable, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas.

    Good Housekeeping Bond
    We ask our guests for a £50 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

Relaxing break

Was looking for a nice relaxing break where we could take the dog, that's exactly what we got lovely lodge and location close to some really nice beaches and pubs for eating out cant stress enough what a nice 4 days we had lovely place and the owners care that you enjoy your stay! Highly recommend!

Lovely place, helpful people, all in all highly recommend a stay to anyone. We have stayed in here bay resort many times and thought we would try some where new. It didn’t disappoint and we can’t wait to come back for another stay

Perfect accomodation

Broadpath was an excellent lodge with everything you could wish for. It was clean, warm and comfortable. The secure garden was a real bonus for our little dog, and the hot tub with a hot water shower outside was the icing on the cake. Many thanks.

Amazing….

We had the best week here with our dog, beautiful Saunton Sands on the doorstep and perfect location near to Braunton for food. The owners had thought of everything in the lodge and had the best sleep there. We will definitely be back.

Stunning and clean

The lodge was beautiful and the hot tub was so clean. Honestly I could not fault anything it was a beautiful time away. Lodge was clean with everything we needed, the rest and chill time was appreciated after our wedding, even the dog had a blast. Fault less and run beautifully.

A Perfect Lodge for a relaxing break

We had a lovely relaxing stay in Broadpath at Great Field Lodges, Braunton. The location was perfect for a quiet weekend away, very peaceful. Our dog loved the garden and it was secure so she couldn’t wander off. The Lodge was amazing it was so nicely decorated and the hosts had provided everything we needed, even bathrobes. The hot tub was undercover which was great and there was an outdoor warm shower which I thought was ideal for the hot tub. Normally in must places we’ve stayed in you have to walk through the lodge to get showered before so this was a great idea. There was dog treats, poo bags and a towel for the dog and we had milk and a bottle of Prosecco. It’s situated in a lovely part of Devon with lots of walks from the lodge to the coast and plenty of places to visit locally especially Saunton Sands and Braunton Burrows. We will definitely be staying here again. Wonderful lodges set out in a perfect setting for a break away.

Another fabulous stay at Great Field Lodges

This is the third time of staying at Great Field Lodges. The accommodation is always top notch and Sarah is always very quick to respond to any queries. The dogs love it here and the enclosed garden is great. We have 2 large dogs and we know we can fully relax and not worry about them getting out. The local beaches are fab and there is lots to do nearby if you like walking and exploring. Thanks for another great stay. Ps the hot tub is a real treat!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time and that was because everything was perfect Sarah was amazing every question I ask she responded immediately and answered all my questions and the lodge was the best I have stayed in for a long time and our surroundings were very nice and private and peaceful and also plenty of lovely places to visit close by I will definitely be returning very soon thank you to Sarah and the team for making it do perfect

Broadpath, Great Field Lodges

We have recently stayed in the Broadpath Lodge and we couldn’t recommend it enough, the facilities in the lodge was amazing, and we loved the decoration throughout as well as the hot tub! The location of the lodge was also perfect as we could take about a 10 minute walk to the local pubs and restaurants, meaning no need for taxi’s etc. Sarah was also really friendly and the prosecco, flowers and biscuits left for us was a really nice touch, overall loved our stay!

Dog Friendly Retreat

We stayed at Broadpath Lodge and had a thoroughly relaxing break. The lodge was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and extremely comfortable — perfect for unwinding after long walks. Its location is ideal peaceful and private yet close enough to explore the coast and nearby villages. We especially appreciated how dog-friendly it was, with secure outdoor space and easy access to scenic trails. Our dog settled in straight away! Everything was just as described and the booking process was smooth and reassuring. We’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable escape with their four-legged companion.

Perfect short break

Having read the reviews we were quite confident that Broadpath was a good choice for a short break..and we were not disappointed. Clean stylish quiet ..early morning road noise didn’t disturb us even with the window open. Very dog friendly, and nice treats left for us and our dog. Quality linens and furnishings, the bed was so comfortable!! Can’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t provided. A big plus point for us was the provision of facilities to recycle our rubbish..especially glass bottles. No drive of shame with our empties rattling around whilst we look for a bottle bank! All in all a lovely break and somewhere we hope to revisit.

A wonderful Devon escape

We had a fantastic short break at Broad path and will definitely be back; The chalet was spotless and had everything you could want or need for a luxurious relaxing break. Easy access to miles of country lines with the opportunity for our dog to run for miles. We ate at the Duke Dive in Braunton which is a must. We had relaxed breakfasts on the decking in the sun and spent the evenings relaxing in the hot tub, especially after cycling the Tarka trail for miles. A lovely escape, fab hospitality and are already planning our next visit.

Beautiful week in Devon

We had an amazing 4 night stay in the broadpath chalet. The place was immaculate, modern and a great location to both saunton sands, woolacombe and ilfracombe beaches. A 10 min walk to the town centre too. The chalet itself was beautiful, the hot tub was perfect after a day out and is furnished to a high standard. Have already been recommending it to friends and family and would definitely return.

Comfortable and relaxing

Broadpath is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The small drying room is useful for drying off cosies after using the hot tub or waterproofs/ boots when it rains. It’s ideally situated to explore north Devon and its proximity to Braunton is good for restaurants and for getting about by bus. We have stayed there several times and I’m sure this won’t have been the last.

Broadpath

Our stay at broadpath was unreal. Very clean house and well equipped for anything you would do at home with a packed out kitchen. Stayed during winter with no heating needed as is very well insulated and toasty without. Again very clean and well kept hot tub with shelter. Beaches are near by as well as lots of restaurants. Spot on place to stay at whether it’s short or long stay. Will definitely be returning.

Perfect!

This was our 2nd stay at Broadpath, and again it won't be our last. Ourselves and our little Whippet love it here. Very secure garden, all the cooking facilities and utensils you need. Most comfortable bed and lovely bedding. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Fab beaches just short drives away, great roads to travel around too. Braunton Burrows also a must and great for dogs. Undercover hot tub so can still be enjoyed in the rain. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing!

This was by far the best place we have ever stayed! Broadpath had everything we needed for the 2 of us and our little Whippet. The place we spotlessly clean when we arrived. Nice big secure garden. Nice and quiet and very relaxing. WiFi very good, the bed was very comfortable we both slept very well. The space, the shower, the kitchen, the hot tub, the location, everything was perfect. We will be back. Thank you so much
