B&B a Brecon

“What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. “Molto gentile il padrone del B&B. In camera (molto carina e casalinga) c'erano una TV gigante, un adattatore per le spine degli altri paesi europei (vi assicuro che quasi nessun hotel ce li ha!!), un adattatore per spine usb. Purtroppo, però, il wi-fi non ha mai funzionato in due giorni! Solo due velux in camera per arieggiare: poco utili perché apribili solo in piccola parte e se piove...entra in parte l'acqua. Colazione buona e abbondante in saletta molto gradevole con splendido acquario....

“I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”

“The hotel is clearly dated however, it is clean , comfortable and excellent value for money. A fiver for homemade corned beef pie, chips and peas. Come on you cant beat that. ”
