La Gare è una casa ferroviario ristrutturato immerso in rigogliosi giardini due livelli, con alberi secolari, un parco giochi, tranquille zone salotto, un lusso all'aperto cucina e zona pranzo e una esterna riscaldata 8m x 4m piscina. La casa è libera dai vicini, ma facilmente accessibile alle città locali e alle principali reti stradali.

Questo spaziose e ben arredate casa di famiglia si trova in una posizione ideale per esplorare la Vendee, oltre a fornire gli ospiti con abbondanza di spazio per rilassarsi e distendersi senza vivere l'uno sopra l'altro. Ognuno può trovare il proprio modo di godersi questa casa ben amata, sia rilassarsi sotto una quercia matura, sedersi / prendere il sole vicino alla piscina, mangiare e cucinare fuori nella lussuosa cucina all'aperto completamente attrezzata, su uno dei tre patii o il ampi prati pianeggianti, passeggiate serali sui sentieri adiacenti, rannicchiati su grandi divani di sera per film, TV, giochi o semplicemente per guardare il flicker a legna - la scelta è vostra.

Quasi tutta la struttura è in sedia a rotelle / Accessibile ai disabili - dalla camera da letto al piano terra e bagno con doccia bagnata, per l'ingresso livello per il giardino murato e cucina all'aperto, il dolce pendio fino all'ingresso piscina, e anche la pendenza fino al giardino superiore .

La camera da letto al piano terra può essere una suite da solo se lo si desidera - ben isolata dal resto della casa da una piccola lobby, e con la doccia stanza umida adiacente, si può avere tutta la privacy hai bisogno! Ideale per i problemi di mobilità ridotta. Si può anche fare una camera familiare favolosa se necessario - c'è un divano letto matrimoniale, o siamo in grado di mettere un letto singolo nella nicchia, difficilmente colpisce lo spazio disponibile. Questo rende La Gare adatto non solo a una famiglia singola o estesa, ma anche a 2 famiglie da condividere, la seconda doccia al piano superiore si trova proprio tra le 2 camere da letto al piano superiore - se desideri qualche consiglio su come possiamo aiutarti ad accoglierti , vi preghiamo di darci una chiamata o e-mail - siamo sempre felici di aiutare se possiamo.


La piscina riscaldata è aperta e disponibile dal 25 maggio al 14 settembre. Durante questi periodi la pompa di calore manterrà l'acqua piacevole e calda. Per tutti i noleggi in aprile e ottobre, la piscina potrebbe essere disponibile, ma questo dipenderà interamente dalle condizioni meteorologiche e dalle temperature attuali. Per le prenotazioni in questi periodi, faremo il contatto con voi durante la corsa fino alla vostra vacanza, e se il tempo è abbastanza caldo in vista delle vostre vacanze potremo organizzare il riscaldamento della piscina e renderla disponibile per voi. Il costo di avere la piscina riscaldata e disponibile per il vostro uso sarà di ulteriori 50 euro, da pagare all'arrivo. La piscina non sarà disponibile per l'uso da novembre a marzo. Tuttavia, le aree salotto e la cucina esterna del giardino della piscina possono essere tranquillamente utilizzate tutto l'anno, a seconda delle esigenze

Durante la stagione principale, i. dal 25 maggio al 14 settembre (incl.), includiamo tutte le lenzuola e gli asciugamani negli affitti come standard. Come con la piscina e l'elettricità, i nostri prezzi riflettono questo. In bassa stagione, da ottobre ad aprile (incl.), L'elettricità sarà addebitata come usato, lenzuola e asciugamani saranno disponibili per un costo di 12. 5 euro a persona, e qualsiasi legno utilizzato per la stufa a legna verrà addebitato a 80 euro per stere (cioè per metro cubo - pro rata).

Le temps n'était pas vraiment top, mais ça personne n'y peut rien. La propriété mériterais un peu de rénovation et d'entretien. Mais les équipements sont très biens. Meilleures salutations

Perfect size for a family of four! Not too big, ideal as a holiday home. The kitchen has all that is needed and sitting room and dining room was particularly handy on the one really wet day that we had. The big selling point for this property, is the outside space, and particularly the pool area! Many an hour was spent chilling by the pool and most lunches/dinners were had facilitated by the pool area kitchen (hob and BBQ were very much utilised) - which is definitely an asset for this property. Our dog also loved all the different areas of the garden - which is completely secure, so there were no worries about where she was at any time. The pool itself, was very easy to maintain, and our 14yo enjoyed the responsibility of checking the chemical levels in the pool each evening! The surrounding area is very beautiful and it was great exploring the woods and the cycle/footpaths with the dog every morning (all very clearly identified and marked by the Vendee department), I found a total of 5 6-8km walks without having to go on any roads - many of which were shaded which was a blessing in the warm summer mornings. The hosts were very easy to contact and very responsive, and any issues were addressed and sorted quickly. We would certainly book this property again.

This house, full of privacy, have a beautiful garden with a great pool. We spend a lot of time there because you also have an outside kitchen. The surrounding is very quiet. The host, Micheal is very friendly and helpfull. The only thing is that the house could you some updating. But no big of a deal, its a countrylife house.

This is a lovely property in the heart of the Vendee countryside - very remote and quiet. Our family loved the pool area, with the barbecue and outdoor kitchen close by. In particular, our granddaughter wanted to be in the pool all the time - and contrary to other reviewers, we found it very easy to maintain the pool ourselves. The only drawback we found was that there was a problem with the drainage in the upstairs bathroom while we were staying. Michael, the owner, did his best to fix it, but it meant that for the majority of our stay, we only had one shower room and toilet instead of two. The surrounding area is lovely, with lots of nice countryside walks and an abundance of wildlife - we even saw a Pine Marten wandering down the path towards us one day! All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing week.

La présence de cafards (dans la salle à manger, dans les chambres, les salles d'eau, etc.) nous a obligés à rentrer chez nous 6 jours avant la fin de la période de location. Le propriétaire ne nous a pourtant proposé aucun remboursement, même partiel, ni aucune compensation. Pas un mot d'excuses non plus. Il était seulement soucieux de se plaindre de son sort et de prouver qu'il ne pouvait pas s'agir de cafards, pour ne pas avoir de mauvaise note sur Abritel, et cela malgré les cadavres de ces nuisibles que nous lui avons présentés. Cette mauvaise foi intolérable aura eu raison de notre indulgence à son égard. Nos vacances gâchées ne l'ont pas beaucoup ému, et nous avons vite compris que ce n'était pas son affaire : cette indifférence au sort d'autrui (malgré un accueil en apparence "chaleureux") est sans doute le point le plus désolant de ce séjour calamiteux. Le propriétaire fera sans doute suivre notre message d'une réponse qui sera interminable, qui dira qu'il se consacre nuit et jour au "bien-être de ses "clients", et qui justifiera l'injustifiable. Nous lui laissons donc un peu de place pour s'étendre, et nous ne parlerons pas de la propreté plus que douteuse de la maison (puisque "le ménage a été fait à fond", paraît-il), ni de l'inconfort des lits (l'un d'eux s'est effondré dès la première nuit), ni de la fuite de la piscine qu'il fallait chaque jour alimenter en eau froide, nous privant des baignades tant attendues. Bonne chance à nos successeurs.

It was really relaxing we had our two little dogs with us and they loved exploring the shaded areas. Loved having our lunch around the pool and dinner outside the kitchen door in the shade. Mike was very helpful and easy to get hold of. Only criticism the bedding, towels and mattress were aged and need to be replaced. Looking forward to returning next year.

the owner would come almost every sunny day 4 or 5 days a week to do the pool chemicals and clean the pool, he was there for the best part of three hours, so we werent able to use the pool at this time and neither felt we could use the pool area. The house on arrival :- the hinges were half off the cupboard that housed the dishwasher, the door came of completely the first week. the patio door from the primary bedroom to the garden wouldn't close the first night, all windows and doors on arrival were open wide, the owner had to come back that first night to help close it. It remained locked for the whole of our time there. the double bed upstairs broke the first week and remained like that. The pool area - the outside kitchen hadn't been cleaned when we arrived ..fat and dirt on the tiled floor of the exterior kitchen was dirty and remained that way for three weeks. We didn't use it. Pool dirty - the pump wasn't working properly or at all pool leaked and was never at a good temperature MOST IMPORTANT Three days before our holiday ended, we found the exterior door from the kitchen didn't lock properly, on pushing the door once supposedly locked it opened very easily again. we'd been leaving all our laptops, ipads, passports -everything important - it was available for anyone to wander in and take our stuff The owner knew this and said it was why he'd put a little wooden block against the door. he failed to tell us however. a massive deep clean and high maintenance needed

Comfortable country house with lovely pool area and views. The photos accurately show the decor, furniture etc. House is in a quiet spot with no near neighbours but only a few minutes drive from amenities. Dog friendly garden, fully enclosed with lots of areas for dogs to snuffle and find shade. House had two wc and two shower rooms which was great. Access to English and French tv. Good WiFi. Owner Michael was easy to contact if needed by phone (I found the messages via the Vrbo app wouldn’t open while I was in France-I don’t know why) and he quickly sorted out anything that we needed help with. Would definitely recommend this property and owner. Thanks for a great holiday!

We had to delay this holiday by two years due to covid, however Michael & Clare we so very accommodating. When we finally managed to take our holiday we were welcomed and shown around by Veronica who lives locally so knew all the good places to visit, and eat. Overall the house was well laid out with everything we needed, the pool area was amazing with the water at a constant 26deg. A lovely couple, great house and area so would recommend a visit

La terrasse boisée rafraîchie par un petit vent nous a permis de passer des épisodes caniculaires et chauds sans problèmes. Une piscine de belle dimension nous a accueillis avec un bel espace barbecue généreusement équipé. Michaël le propriétaire a su nous accueillir avec beaucoup de gentillesse et répondre à toutes nos demandes, c’est une personne dévouée discrète qui rend le séjour délicieux. Pour 2 couples,2 enfants et chiens cette ancienne maison de garde barrière saura idéalement vous satisfaire.

The location was good and grounds themselves are excellent with a nice pool. Sadly that's where the good times end. The house was dirty, tired and in need of some tlc, it also had a weird odour that followed us home to the UK(I think this was maybe because of the amount or Raid fly spray I used to clear the place of insects so maybe my fault). All the pillows were stained and the bed covers had obviously not been renewed for a long time. The towels were also well past there best. little German cockroaches were everywhere, including in clothes wardrobes and all over eating surfaces. we usually done a morning sweep to get rid of them all. We mentioned this to the owner and were told they were european firebugs(they weren't), then I kept a bunch of them to show him and basically said that he did not think they were "real" cockroaches because they weren't big enough!!!!(they were German cockroaches which are small but still spread bacteria and commonly cause diarrhoea). There was also a mouse issue, when we told the owner they came and put some traps down and told us it was just part of being in the countryside which we accepted. What we didn't accept was the sofa bed in main bedroom being covered in mouse poo and base half eaten by them, it was also broken and unusable. No apologies were made for this nor for the rusty unusable bikes in a very untidy shed. The main garden/pool area was also badly needing tidied/weeded and infested with German cockroaches, there was old house furniture also lying about the outside area. This would be an excellent space if properly kept. I doubt it has looked liked the pictures for a long time. Few of the other issues were a leak in the roof and where to put the rubbish. There was a tiny bin so we were told to put all our rubbish in the car port, this sounded like a local issue but would have liked it picked up instead being left to rot next to the house. I was very reluctant to write this review as the owners were excellent and did try to resolve problems we had. There was also a mix up on dates(our fault) so we ended up getting a few free nights which was greatly appreciated but in the end we left a day early. We have seen a lot of replies from owners on bad reviews so expect our issues to be downplayed and made to look minor or our fault but all the downsides have ruined our memories of the holiday. The pictures are not a fair representation of the house.

Clare and Michael. Have been excellent in waiting for us since 2019 and honoured my reservation untill 2022 as per covid and travel disruptions. Overall excellent equipped as stated any niggles we had was sorted asap. Would book again without question. If you want peace and nature this is it. Pool and out door kitchen area. Town for shops around 10mins. Lots to explore coast about 60mins Pou du fuy park a must for visitors around 40mins. Immerse yourself and enjoy your adventure .

Pool and the area around it is lovely , but the furniture and some appliance's in the house needs some TLC, just some things missing and some things not working or need replacing , but nice area so peaceful , quiet roads for cycling and lovely towns

At first, we were not received by the landlords. The house was not clean at all on arrival! The house was simply dirty, not maintained and very under-kept. Also the domain was not maintained at all. Absolutely no place where you want to spend your holiday! We drove straight back home, I think that says it all! The landlords were not immediately accessible, only after several hours we got feedback. Absolutely no service! If the landlords claim otherwise, I have pictures of the state of the house at our arrival. These I would certainly provide if you ask for them, unfortunately I can not post them here. Then you could see there was still dirt on the floor, seats were broken, food remains in the seats, the kitchen sponges were moldy or still hung full of food, the weeds came towards us when entering the domain, ... In the beginning, we were able to have a conversation with the landlords, who by the way had no understanding and completely ignored the issue. Now we get no response at all. Very unfortunate that tenants are treated this way. So think twice if you want to rent this domain!

Un très bon accueil de notre proprietaire. Prestation conforme à notre attente. Malgré une météo tres maussade et quelques petits pbs mineurs, nous restons persuadés que cette proprieté au cadre très agréable est idéale pour un beau sejour en famille. Les efforts et la gentillesse de notre hote sont un plus.

Heerlijk zwembad en buitenkeuken. Woning is wat gedateerd en kan wel wat update gebruiken als het gaat om bijv meubels en koelkast. Wifi is prima. Woning ligt in een rustig gebied waar je mooi kunt wandelen./fietsen Wel wat ver van bezienswaardigheden, zoals kust en Marais Poitevin. Eigenaar is ontzettend aardig en attent.

Nous avons passé un sejour dans un endroit agréable, très bien situé. La maison est juste magnifique avec tout le confort et l'équipement qu'il faut. Le propriétaire est à l'écoute et réactif. Un monsieur qui aime sa maison et qui se donne à fond pour l'améliorer et recevoir les locataires dans de bonnes conditions. Quelques petits problèmes au début de notre séjour qui ont vite été réglés. Merci à Michael et à son petit-fils Nous reviendrons, c'est certain

Un endroit magique, au calme, avec les champs pour voisins. La piscine et son coin cuisine d’été nous ont permis de profiter de l’extérieur en permanence. Le propriétaire était présent pour régler les petits problèmes techniques, c’est une personne adorable, très à l'écoute. La campagne environnante est belle, nous avons été charmés par la visite du village de Vouvant à quelques kilomètres ; nous avons aussi pu profiter de la mer à 1h de route. De très belles vacances!

La villa est parfaite, tout à fait comme sur les photos. Dans un coins tranquille où on ne risque pas de gêner les voisins !!!! Partis à deux familles avec 4 enfants ( de 2 à 10 ans) et deux chiens border collies. Le séjour c est très bien passé. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très réactifs en cas de problèmes... Le temps fût super (moyenne de 30 degrés sur 15 jours en juillet) je recommande tout à fait.

La propriété de Mickaël est exceptionnelle. Spacieuse, extérieurs bien aménagés et bien entretenus. La cuisine d'extérieur est juste géniale. La piscine chauffée permet de palier à une météo parfois alternante. Des vacances en famille avec enfants parfaites. Mickaël et son petit fils sont prévenants et en cas d'incident technique mettent tout en œuvre pour améliorer notre séjour. A refaire !
