If you are looking for a spacious six bedroom farmhouse in an idyllic place, and allowing dogs, then look no further.
However, the accommodation is a little tired and dated in many places, and needs modernising. Having paid close to £3k for a week there, we did expect a little better. True, it is spacious, the kitchen is well supplied, with a dishwasher and large fridge freezer. The spacious lounge was overlooked by a little used storage conservatory, with cobwebs in places. The settees had not been moved for some time, as we saw when looking for lost items. The level of cleanliness throughout could have been a little better. There is a communal laundry room with two washing machines, and a single dryer; the surfaces were again dusty. Next door, a playroom, with a billiards table, table football, and a supply of books and DVDs. The main bedroom had a tiny en-suite bathroom; we had a problem with the toilet flush which took a few days to be repaired, only to fail again, and later repaired for a second time. Bedroom two again, had a tiny bathroom. The third and fourth bedrooms were of reasonable size, and bedroom 5 and 6 were in the attic, with beams limiting heights in places. Lovely grounds in a very quiet rural area, with a lovely private BBQ area, with a gas appliance. Horses, pheasants and rabbits add to the ambience. Wi-fi was very good downstairs. It is 2.2miles from the outskirts of Bridport, along single track country lanes, which are frequently in use.
