  • Ristrutturato nel 2017 con nuove piastrelle, bancone, nuovo frigorifero, nuovo forno a microonde e decking eliminando il vecchio tappeto. Appena fuori dal ponte Rt 421 che attraversa il lago di South Holston siamo vicini ma separati da Laurel Marina. Questa casa sul lago dispone di una veranda solarium .. otto grandi finestre panoramiche che si affacciano su South Holston Lake, circondato dalla montagnosa Cherokee National Forest.
    Ti senti come se fossi in una grande casa sull'albero dove la fauna selvatica è all'altezza degli occhi. Il nostro molo per barche è collegato da gradini alla casa sul lago consente agli ospiti di imbarcarsi, attraccare e nuotare in baia dal nostro molo.

    South Holston Lake è un lago incontaminato con incredibili viste sulle montagne. I ponti di legno circondano la casa e si trovano accanto al Laurel Marina Yacht Club. Casa arredata con calcio balilla, sintetizzatore tastiera, tavolo da biliardo in miniatura. Sentiero degli Appalachi è a pochi chilometri di distanza. I motociclisti conoscono il loop rt 421 come "Snake" ... è molto popolare nei fine settimana.

    La casa si affaccia sul lago con la sua baia isolata con facile accesso ad Abingdon o aBristol with the Raceway. Una canoa è disponibile per l'uso. L'area ha una grande pesca e caccia stagionale. Ci sono fantastici panorami. Il lodge è ben arredato dalla cucina al bagno. Tu porti solo il cibo. Puoi nuotare e goderti una doccia esterna riscaldata (in stagione)

    Le attività vicino a questo lago lungo 26 miglia includono: spiagge sul lago in barca, jet ski, whitewater canoa / kayak, rafting, sci, pesca, giochi, relax, escursioni su Appalachian Trail, Bristol Motor Speedway (fine marzo e agosto), Fantasy in Luci (track lite show), Barter e Paramount Theatres, Bristol Caverns, alpinismo, Dollywood, Tinseltown (film), National Forest, siti pionieristici di storia, lago di nuoto, noleggio barche, equitazione, speleologia, Bristol, VA è l'originale Casa di musica country. A settembre c'è un festival di musica country chiamato Rhythm and Roots setup per metà settembre.
    Festival narrativo a Jonesborough, Tn è nelle vicinanze.

    La storica Bristol è una città divisa tra la Virginia e il Tennessee. È noto per il luogo di nascita originario della musica country e della Bristol Motor Speedway. Great house! It has a lot of stairs. If you can't handle a good amount of stairs, this house is not for you! Was very clean. My sole complaint would be, only one of the beds on the kitchen level was very comfortable.

Great view! Great access.

We had a fantastic time. The views were incredible and the access to the marina which was just a short walk up the road and the dock which was just down a few stairs made for a perfect week.

The host was wonderful to deal with and got back to us very quickly when a questioned needed answered. The dock and cove were great and you had the whole cove to yourself.

Overall fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay and I do plan to go back. 15 minutes from the race track, lots of a options near the property to buy essentials and fishing gear. Dock was a great area to fish and hang out. Host had great communication as well!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family. The location is perfect. We enjoyed swimming and the dock in our own little private cove. The proximity to laurel marina is also perfect. The home is very beautiful and clean with impeccable views. Our dogs were also very happy to be able to join us at the lake! 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to return!

Easy, friendly check in. Communication was great.

Property was as described. Beautiful area not far from Bristol. We attended NASCAR night races and it was very convenient from race track. Visited downtown Bristol each day to explore food and activities. Close to Bristol caverns which kids enjoyed. Would love to come back to area and explore more.

Great stay again this year. The house is exactly what we need. We are on the lake all and the house is convenient to the many areas we hang out at on the water. Delta Blues at Laurel Marina is wonderful. We did grill a lot again this year and had big breakfast each morning. New cookware and extra serving bowls is greatly needed. Great stay. Probably my favorite rental. Bernard was awesome and available, the location was perfect and the house was everything we needed. Easy access to the water, marina down the street. There are steps lol There are spiders, webs, and insects outside. You are in the woods! but the house was clean and homey.

Barnard, was very communicative. The place was great fit for me and my family for Christmas. slept everyone comfortably.The only negative I have is there was dust and the bathtub was dirty. Like how a house gets dirty when no been around for awhile. Other than that I would definitely suggest for a lake side vacation.

The lake house was perfect for our family needs. There was plenty of room for all who stayed. For those who complained about spiders, just remember you are in the woods and that’s what nature is going to give you. Can’t wait until next year. Perfect Location

Great place with large space for family! We had nine in our group and we were not on top of each other. Two bathrooms with standing showers and one bathroom with tub only. Best perk…… only 20 minutes from the speedway, seriously a great location! I loved the ease of going to Downtown Bristol as well. If you need a quiet location, this is it!

Beautiful view

The lake house has a beautiful view. Plenty of room for the family, lots of steps kept us exercising! It could use a deep cleaning though, especially the bathrooms, and there was mice mess on one of the beds. The kitchen was clean and had sufficient pans etc, but not 1 sharp knife. Lots of deck area for sitting outside.

Our second time renting this property

This was our second time renting this house. We love the lake views, the private boat dock, and proximity to Laurel Marina—it’s all about spending time on South Holston Lake for us. There’s a LOT of stairs which may be difficult if you have older family members, but overall it’s a really great rental home for people who enjoy nature and the beauty of Tennessee!!

Disappointed

We seen the reviews and thought they may have been exaggerated. I can handle rustic, however, the house was dirty, cobwebs everywhere, dangerous steps... We were embarrassed to have our family there. On a positive note it was the most beautiful view I have ever seen.

Great Holiday Week

We had our family with us to ring in the New Year. There were a few quirks to the home, but everything worked well and it was an accommodating home for all of us and our dogs. I appreciated the prompt communication with Bernard. Since we visited in December, we did not use the lake, but there was plenty to do at the house and in Bristol.

South Dakota to Bristol

Nice property. Is on 3 levels which wasn’t a problem. A few lights were out in different areas of the house. The motion light in front didn’t work. We enjoyed the area and the house, it was everything that the post said. We would stay again, very relaxing. Would recommend it.
