Questa bella post e fascio casa si trova sulla penisola Pemaquid ed è perfetto per chi vuole un senza stress e tranquilla vacanza get-away. Privacy abbonda questa proprietà e si trova a soli cinque minuti a piedi Calf Island tranquillo Boyd Pond dove si può godere la fauna selvatica, mentre seduto sul molo, il nuoto o per godersi un giro in kayak o in canoa. Questo è un luogo perfetto per coloro che amano la natura e vogliono allontanarsi dalla frenesia della vita di tutti i giorni. Siamo a breve distanza da splendida spiaggia di acqua salata di Bristol, Pemaquid Point, Fort William Henry e il centro pittoresco e incantevole di Damariscotta. Bristol si trova in posizione centrale nel Maine costiera per gite giornaliere in tutta la regione. Gite in barca a Mohegan isola, balena e orologi pulcinella di mare possono essere trovati in New Harbor, che è a pochi minuti da Bristol. I arrived in the middle of a late March snow storm! After harrowing driving conditions, it was a relief to enter a very warm and cozy cottage in the woods at Boyd Pond. The gas stove was lit and made the cottage warm and inviting.The chairs around the stove were very comfortable. the kitchen was well-stocked with all you need to cook and eat a great meal.The owners were available at a moments notice, and were very helpful with answers to my questions.All in all, I look forward to my next stay at Boyd Pond. I have been coming to Lincoln County for 25 years, and this location was a great surprise.

I stayed here with friends for a local wedding. The home was very cute and well-kept. It is in a great location, making it an easy drive to towns in multiple directions. Our only negative was that we had to take all trash with us and because we left on a Sunday, the local transfer station was closed, so we had to drive for a while with our trash in the car.

This is the 4th year we have stayed and loved it! The new chairs in the living room area were a great addition. The property inside and out was clean and well maintained. This is also close to my parents’ house, and close to Damariscotta, the lighthouse, restaurants, and of course the water. We will be back again next year!

We stayed two nights here for a girls get together. Very private, clean and comfortable beds. The cottages location was perfect for us! Not far from Pemaquid beach and the town of Damariscotta. Also, a nice wooded trail to hike within walking distance. I would say that we were a little surprised to have to make our beds when we arrived. That was a first for us. Although there were written instructions on the doors, we found them very complicated to use. Other than those two issues, it was a lovely stay, and I would definitely recommend!

They need to install a culvert at the base of the driveway up to the house where it’s washed out and dangerously jagged rocks could damage a car or tires. The deck is seriously in need of power washing to remove mildew and lesson slips & falls, especially when it’s wet or after rain. The screen doors on the porch don’t fit tight, so the door latches don’t catch or lock, so critters could get in. Listing says there is access to a pond and island, but no information was provided regarding where it is and how to get to it.

The property was just as listed. The property had everything you could think of from towels, band aids, pancake syrup, bedding, ample dishes, paper towels, linens, toiletries, etc. It was very comfortable with the ceiling fans, and the grill on the porch was a bonus. It was very spacious for 4 adults. We did not even use the loft, but if we had a bigger party, that is a plus. High speed internet was a big plus as we were able to do research before we headed out for our day trips, I even had to send in my payroll. A very quiet location, close to the pond and island. The location was perfect for us as we visited the lighthouse 3 times, and it was also close to Damariscotta. The only suggestions would be a bigger table, more comfortable chairs (instead of the wicker ones), thicker pads for the dining chairs, and better lighting.
