“L’unica cosa positiva di questo albergo è la posizione. Per il resto, non si tratta di un hotel “old fashion” bensì ti una struttura trascurata e mal tenuta”

“Posto speciale e strategico .. meglio non si potrebbe trovare, all’interno del giardino della cattedrale, con possibilità di accesso diretto e senza code alla cattedrale !! Consigliatissimo!!!!”

“La proprietaria serve con gentilezza un english breakfast di tutto rispetto, offrendo anche eventuali aggiunte o modifiche al menù. La struttura non è nuova, le stanze impolverate e con vari disservizi. Terzo piano senza ascensore, scomodo per portare valige ed il marito della proprietaria è un omaccione per nulla disponibile a dare un minimo aiuto a portare su (o giu) le valige.”

“Piccola struttura su più piani con scale interne tipiche Inglese strette e in piedi. Camera ben arredata e seppur non grande sufficientemente spaziosa x una famiglia di 4 persone per brevi soggiorni. Bagno lillipuziano senza finestra con lavandino davvero ridicolo. Direi questo il vero limite della struttura oltre alle scale. IL tutto ampiamente compensato dalla gentilezza e ospitalità della proprietaria che coccola letteralmente i clienti! ”

“In over 30 years of travelling on business, this is one of the best places I have stayed in.Although I did not meet the owners it was clear that the accommodation was well looked after and virtually everything had been thought of for the comfort of their guests. Virtually everything was absolutely spotlessly clean.The only small point I noticed was that there was dirt around the toilet seat hinge - a bit of a dirt trap and difficult to access(I'm sounding like a "Four in a Bed" contestant...

“From the warm welcome on arrival to the helpful and friendly check out we had a lovely overnight stay. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The attic room is spacious and clean with a very comfy bed. The location is perfect for a walk along the seafront to the restaurants and bars. We will rebook and we’re recommending this hotel to our family and friends. Thank you. ”

“A clean, well-run place. I booked at the last minute, so the email with information on accessing the place was sent by email while I was on the train. Wifi on the train was non-existent, so I had difficulty downloading the information, so I rang the landlord, who was extremely helpful. ”

“Beautiful quaint guest house, hosted by the kind and very helpful John and his lovely wife who went above and beyond. John was helpful in sharing information about local attractions as well as nice places to eat. Really enjoyed a quiet weekend away at the coast. Must stay if you’re in Dover. ”

“It's a great retreat. The environment is quiet and chill,, rooms with good view on a grassland with cows & hares getting around. The only thing is the privacy,, since the glass of the window is not shaded and the people passed by could easily see through into your room when you are looking at the beautiful view.”

“Our double room had the bathroom down the hall, but despite repeated attempts there was no way to shut (or lock) the door from the inside as it was catching badly on the frame. Bath mat in the bathroom wasn't clean. Mirror in the bedroom was leant up against the wall rather than attached, so had to bend over double to use. Small window in the bedroom had no curtain and a light right outside. Noisy room (traffic noise, doorbell of late arriving guests, and could hear upstairs...

“ DO NOT BOOK!! Firstly there is no name to the booking it’s just spacious double bed hotel. Secondly the exterior is disgusting mouldy water dripping Everywhere. Thirdly a double booking happened so we had to stay at the owner boat. That was TERRIBLE!! Dust everywhere, and old mouldy smell scented fhe entire place. The were stains everywhere I looked crumbs on everything I sat on and bird crap all over the exterior. I only stayed there with my Partner as everywhere else was fully booked out. I...

“The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had.”

“Perfect little base for our family to attend a wedding in Viking bay, could easily walk everywhere and apartment was very clean comfortable and well presented. Will recommend to anyone visiting the area.”
