The holiday apartments are situated on a most romantic and unique sandy beach near London. They have been family managed by the owners for twenty years. Part of a 250 year old Georgian Mansion the apartments are comfortably furnished including books, videos and games. Every room has a beautiful view either out to sea and the chalk cliffs or towards the Victorian garden at the back of the house. There is an ever changing scene sea scape with the tides, fascinating sea birds, ships to watch either from the windows or the beach directly in front of the property. You have opportunities to play golf straight behind the house, go swimming, go to the children's play area or play tennis. A good idea is to bring your own bicycles with you. The bicycle paths around this area and some along the beach are breath-taking. All apartments are child friendly and non-smoking areas.

Beautiful flat front beach

The flat is located in front of the most beautiful and peaceful beach of the area. There are many excellent places to eat 5-10mins drive and a pub 2mins walk from the flat. The flat is well appointed with comfortable sofas to relax. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and a dishwasher. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 with a shower and the other with a bathtub. The main room has two beds put together making it the size of a kingsize.The views from the flat are amazing, the flat is truly located in a privileged position. And Simone is an amazing host. We feel we were really lucky to find this place. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful apartment with spectacular views

We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to the Kent Coast made perfect by our stay at this apartment. The owners live downstairs and are very friendly, whilst leaving you to enjoy your stay in peace. We had access to a large, smart TV with Sky and a range of other apps for evening viewing. The apartment is kept spotlessly clean. The views are spectacular with a lovely, quiet bay literally opposite the property. We spent hours watching the tide going in and out. At low tide, you can walk for miles and miles along the coastline. A five star stay and I'm sure we will be back at some point.

Un séjour parfait !

Nous avons passé plusieurs fois des vacances à Broadstairs, cité balnéaire très jolie et très agréable. Les appartements de Mrs Simone Vince sont très confortables et très jolis, et ils offrent une vue superbe sur la mer et les falaises, et un accès direct à la plage. Un endroit idéal pour des vacances en bord de mer.

Tolle Wohnung in super Lage. Für Besuche in London sehr gut gelegen. Gleichzeitig direkt am Strand.... Es war wie wir uns das erhofft hatten.

Everything you need including the view!

Lovely apartment with fantastic views over the beach and sea. Everything we required to make it a home away from home break. Simone is a great host and makes sure you are comfortable with all the appliances. Great location for walking on the beach into Broadstairs and beyond or cycling up to Whitstable.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub

Wir haben schon zum zweiten Mal unseren Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung Sea View verbracht und sind sehr, sehr zufrieden. Die super Lage direkt am Strand mit tollem Panorama-Ausblick ist einfach toll. Der Strand ist sauber und auch im Hochsommer nicht überlaufen. Man kann sich also wunderbar entspannen. Der Pub Captain Digby's ist keine 200m entfernt und gerade für Familien mit Kindern ein guter Tipp (das Essen ist sehr lecker und für Kinder gibt es einen großen Spielbereich). Mit dem Auto erreicht man in weniger als 15 Minuten diverse Shoppingcenter und Supermärkte. Die Umgebung bietet wirklich viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, so dass man einen abwechslungsreichen Urlaub gestalten kann. Die Besitzerin ist sehr sympathisch und äußerst hilfsbereit. In der Ferienwohnung hat uns nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub und kommen sicher wieder!!!

Super Wohnung, ausgezeichnete Lage, tolle Vermieterin!!

Wir waren zwei Wochen in der Wohnung „Sea View“ und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Anreise mit der Fähre Calais-Dover ist absolut problemlos und die Fahrt von Dover nach Broadstairs so kurz, dass der Urlaub faktisch auf der Fähre in Calais beginnt. Vor dem Haus hat man einen eigenen Parkplatz. Die Vermieterin ist sehr sehr nett, jederzeit ansprechbar und hilft wann immer es nötig ist. Die gesamte Abwicklung war professionell, unkompliziert und völlig reibungslos. Die Wohnung ist groß, hat viele Zimmer und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll (siehe Fotos) und alles ist sauber. Die Betten sind klasse und wir haben super geschlafen - auch sehr wichtig! Im Haus war es immer ruhig. Vom Frühstückstisch aus kann man über die Bucht schauen und den Blick auf die See und den „Klippenbogen“ geniessen. Man kann Schiffe beobachten und Ebbe und Flut bei der Arbeit zuschauen :-) Zum Strand geht man über die Strasse und eine Treppe hinunter, so dass man in 3 Minuten am Strand sitzt. Die Nachbarbuchten kann man bei Ebbe auch zu Fuß erreichen (zwischendurch steinig!). Mit dem Zug waren wir in knapp zwei Stunden in London. Am Bahnhof Broadstairs kann man parken, wir sind die 4 Kilometer aber mit dem Fahrrad gefahren. Überhaupt kann man entlang der Küste auch schön Fahrrad fahren. Fahrradwege sind meistens gut ausgeschildert. Zum Thema Golfspielen: Direkt neben dem Haus gibt es einen Platz auf dem man spielen kann. Dort war es aber doch recht steif. Wir waren lieber auf dem Platz St. Augustine’s in Cliffsend (Ramsgate). Mit dem Auto ca. 10 km. Dort waren alle ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend (Spieler und Personal). Der Platz war in einem sehr guten Zustand. Es gab günstige Green Fee Konditionen für Besucher und vor allem: wir haben uns wirklich willkommen gefühlt! Natürlich gilt trotzdem die Etikette - keine Jeans auf dem Platz, Golfkleidung, Kappe im Clubhaus absetzen … aber das ist ja in Deutschland nicht anders :-) Alles in allem ein genialer Urlaub. Vielen Dank nochmal an Simone Vince!! Kann sein, dass wir mal wieder kommen :-)

Wunderbare Weihnachten in Kent

Es hat alles gestimmt und unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar weit übertroffen. Von der sehr schönes Wohnung über die freundliche persönliche Betreuung bis hin zum liebevoll geschmückten Weihnachtsbaum war alles 1A! Die Lage ist traumhaft. Wer zum Essen eine tolle Aussicht mag, kommt voll auf seine Kosten. Das Kingsgate ist bei jedem Wetter schön anzusehen, wobei wir sonnige Weihnachten und hatten und auch sonst das Wetter klasse war. Im Ort gibt es nette Geschäfte, Banken und gute Lokale. Die Preise sind fair und die Qualität gut. Alles in allem hatten wir eine wunderbare Zeit in England und kommen gerne wieder.

tolle Lage, Meerblick, direkt am Strand

sehr geräumig, Platz für alle, ohne sich auf die Füsse zu treten, Strandausrüstung für Kinder vorhanden, DVD, englisches und deutsches Fernsehen, für uns fünf, 2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder (15, 12 und 3 Jahre alt) war alles perfekt, nur die Fische muss man selber kaufen;)

Traumhafter Ausblick in gemütlicher Atmosphäre.......

Man kann sich den Vorschreibern nur anschließen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und großzügig aufgeteilt. Super freundlicher und immer erreichbarer Kontakt (deutschsprachig). Der Ausblick ist ein Traum !!!!!!!!! Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder !!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellente location !

Date du séjour : du 30/07 au 06/08 2016 Nous avons été très agréablement surpris à notre arrivée de découvrir un appartement totalement conforme au descriptif, en mieux ! L'appartement "Sea view" se situe au premier niveau d'un ancien manoir du 18ème siècle parfaitement entretenu. Rien à dire sur la propreté de l'appartement et des parties communes : impeccable ! Très bonne insonorisation entre les appartements et avec l'extérieur. La route est d'ailleurs peu passante ; cela rend encore plus simple la manœuvre pour se garer sur la place de parking attribuée. L'appartement est chaleureux, décoré avec goût, confortable et équipé conformément au descriptif annoncé. Ajouté à cela une multitude de livres, documentations sur le Kent, vidéos, jeux et matériels de plage en tous genres (seaux, pelles, transats, nattes de plages, combinaisons néoprènes adultes et enfants, etc ...). On se sent vraiment dans une maison de famille ! La plage, en face, est très facilement accessible : une route à traverser et quelques marches d'escaliers à descendre suffisent ! Nos enfants de 5 et 9 ans étaient ravis, et nous aussi ! De jolies balades à faire dans un rayon de 50 kms : Broadstairs, Sandwich, Walmer, Canterbury, ... Sans oublier la petite halte appréciée au Captain' Digby à 2 minutes à pieds ! Un petit coin tranquille de l'Angleterre à découvrir en famille dont nous sommes revenus enchantés et avec l'envie d'y revenir !

Tolle, urgemütliche Wohnung in wunderschöner Umgebung

Die Informationen im Online-Inserat stimmten exakt mit dem überein, was wir vor Ort vorgefunden haben. Beschreibung des Hauses, Ausstattung der Wohnung. Die Wohnung befand sich in einem sehr ordentlichen, gepflegten und sehr sauberen Zustand. Nach unserer Ankunft haben wir Frau Vince informiert und sie kam innerhalb kürzester Zeit um uns persönlich zu begrüßen. Von ihr bekamen wir Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Auch liegt in der Wohnung ein sehr informativer Ordner über Ausflugsziele. Der dortige Tipp mit London war super: mit dem Auto auf den Parkplatz des Millenium-Dome (kostet ca 12 Pfund für acht Stunden) und von dort mit dem Themses Clippers in die Stadt (der Anleger ist ca fünf Gehminuten entfernt). So war dieser Ausflug nach London für uns, mit doch noch recht kleinen Kindern (sieben und vier) ein entspanntes, aufregendes Erlebnis! Im Eingangsbereich des fast 300 Jahre alten Hauses steht ein großer Korb mit Sandspielzeug und es sind einigen Neoprenanzüge für Kinder vor Ort - alles kann so mit an den Strand genommen werden. Diesen erreicht man mit wenigen Schritten: Über die Straße, die Treppe hinunter. Toller Sandstrand, ideal zum buddeln, schwimmen und Muscheln sammeln. Eine Information hätten wir uns vorab gewünscht: Die Kingsgate Bay ist einer der wenigen Hundestrände in der Umgebung. Wir haben nur sehr gut erzogene, freundliche Tiere getroffen; Hinterlassenschaften der Hunde haben wir nicht entdeckt. Die Hunde sind jedoch nicht angeleint und für kleine Kinder und/oder ängstliche Personen ist dies evtl nicht der richtige Strand. Ein paar hundert Meter oberhalb des Ferienhauses befindet sich das Restaurant "Captn Digby". Uns persönlich hat das Essen dort nicht geschmeckt. Burger waren trocken, die Pommes pappig. Drinnen war es so voll und laut, dass wir uns, trotz des windigen Wetters, lieber nach draußen gesetzt haben. Ansonsten haben wir zum Kochen die Küche der Ferienwohnung genutzt =) Wenn die Welt nicht noch voll vieler weiterer, spannender Plätze sein würde, würden wir bestimmt wieder kommen.
