“Graham and Krista have put together a fabulous chic modern hotel that was a pleasure to stay at for our weekend getaway to Lake Wallenpaupack. The Lakelyn Lodge in Lakeville PA is a newly renovated hotel with a fabulous eye to detail and with great finishing touches. We were extremely pleased with the attention to our needs and the attentiveness of the owners. It was a top notch experience from start to finish. We highly recommend the Lakelyn Lodge and look forward to staying here again!”

“We had an amazing time, there was a last minute room change due to maintenance However I was refunded the difference immediately. Some things could use a replacement or “touch up” but overall an amazing resort and we can’t wait to go back”

“I liked the convenient (and free) parking, the landscaping in the courtyard, the elevator, the clean room, good-working (and quiet) air-conditioner (& controlled by a thermostat on wall), a good bed with a variety of bed pillows, nice big tub-shower, with convenient pump bottles of shampoo, body wash, etc, and easy room check-out. :)”

“Website is not how property shows in real life. Exterior of property needs updating as well as property grounds. Rooms interior are updated but common areas are still dated. Air conditioning units need to be replaced. Food is average and highly priced. Lake is not clear and was told by locals they do not swim in it. Staff was friendly and accommodating but accommodations and property were very average grade.”

“Me and my friends recently stayed at the Rex Hotel in Greenwood and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed during our stay. The rooms were well-maintained, quiet, and very relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a long day. “This place is totally run down. One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in my life. Most of the staff were friendly. Exception was the checkout person who did not even turn to me or lift her head when I asked about the checkout process.”

“It is a charming hotel, with actual metal keys. Much more personal than a chain hotel. The television signal was not consistent, which was not surprising for the hilly location. We really enjoyed our stay. The town has many small shops, eateries which are worth enjoying”
