“Our main objective in visiting York was the trains! We especially enjoyed the York Minster, the wall, the Shambles & the incredible history. The Friargate location was perfect for our group of 8. Highly recommend this comfortable, beautifully decorated home. Only snag was getting a parking ticket for parking a van in the designated spot in front of the house. ”

“Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. “This is one of my most favorite properties of all time! The bed was great, the shower was great. It could have used a shelf in the shower and maybe another one by the sink but otherwise the location was great. We DID listen to records in the listening room and I sat in the naughty corner outside reading for several hours - it was lovely!
