“Gite tres bien situe pour de balades dans l'est des cevennes. Acces riviere depuis le jardin mais peu d'eau lors de notre venue a cause de la meteo. Agreable terrasse avec une belle vue et le passage du train a vapeur toute la journee qui a amuse notre bebe. ”

“Everything about life in France is here in this lovely house. Old yet practical, thick walls and shutters kept it cool in the hot sun. Sun and shade in the private garden. Views over fields and hills. Wake to the sun streaming in and the songs of nightingale and oriole. (Or can close the shutters for those who don't like early mornings)..We loved the walk down a pretty lane (half an hour) into Sauve for coffee in one of the shady squares, and bakers for bread and croissants. “Our hosts, Patrick and Yvonne, were delightful and so helpful with recommendations about the area—wineries, restaurants, things to see. With excellent English, it was easy to communicate.Although extremely hot the week we were there, the apt was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had a good-sized refrigerator. The apt and yard were very private and quiet. Although the place has not been updated, it was comfortable.”
