“We loved the quiet setting, views from the kitchen and living area and the rustic charm and comfort of this beautiful cottage. While we did not stay long enough to enjoy the outdoor streamside firepit, we did enjoy the gas fireplace while having dinner and watching a movie. I did take one star off for the cleaning because although I am allergic to pets and knew this was a pet friendly home, the helpful property manager said the house had been recently deep cleaned and would be given a once over...

“I spent 3 nights here over the Easter weekend with my wife and college aged daughter. This cabin was very comfortable and clean. There was everything we needed and everything is very organized. This cabin is located in a nice quiet forested area with homes nearby but plenty of privacy, I would definitely stay here again.”

“Very lovely. The cottage was located away from the road and was very quiet. As we watched the sun set, a doe and her fawn came down the driveway. Close to all the places we were visiting - Fallingwaters, Kentuck Knob, Laurel Caverns and the GAP trail. The outdoor space was very comfortably furnished. Too cold to white water raft.”

“My daughter and I can’t say enough positives about our stay at this location. Everything about it was top-notch. Every possible need was anticipated and provided for. The kitchen was supplied to care for every possible cooking and serving need. We loved sitting out on the covered deck overlooking the yard below and the birdfeeders that attracted numerous kinds of birds. We enjoyed the table top gas grill on the deck. “I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay in the cabin again in the future when I need quiet time away. It is also a short drive to Fallingwater, and I enjoyed a guided tour of the UNESCO world...

“We had a great stay. The only issue I had was the cigarette smoke smell. As an ex smoker myself it was a little triggering so that was why I only put 4 stars for cleaning. It was clean besides the smell. Thank you for allowing us into your home.”

“Really enjoyed the place! The house was perfectly set up in layout for a little extra privacy for the first floor bedroom occupants which we enjoyed. The teens and dad enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit (with stocked wood ready to go!!!) and even though the home is surrounded by trees, there is enough clearing to still be able to see the stars and play a little Cornhole (we brought boards). I personally loved being able to walk across the street to the lakefront and bar at Dutch's Silver...

“Mona and Bryon have a delightlful property and they allow their guests to set the tone. Check-in was as simple as unpakcking our car, but Mona and Bryon were always available if we had questions. The cabin was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed to settle in for a few days of quiet and beauty. The birds and critters are as much a part of the experience as the scenic location.
