“This was a perfect little place for the weekend. Quiet yet walkable to downtown, I loved this rental. It was the weekend of my father's celebration of life and this was a perfect place to unwind and relax leading up to, and after, the celebration. The couple upstairs have a beautiful black dog, too!”

“location of property is great. Walkable to town.Apartment is comfortable. Only downside is the one bathroom and its very small sink. While it worked okay, we just found it tough with 4 people and one small bathroom.But, would recommend the property to anyone needing to stay in Brunswick”

“The location was everything! We walked to dinner and breakfast. The place itself was a little underwhelming based on the price we paid. My mattress was lumpy and there were a few areas that seemed to need upgrades or better cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom. Without the location I would have been more puzzled by the price.”

“We loved our stay here! What I loved most was the common area with the large sectional and seating area. Plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out! We used the kitchen for all meals and it was adequately stocked with everything we needed for cookware and utensils. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The location is great, a quiet neighborhood and easy drive to the harbor. The only thing I would suggest to make it a better stay is more towels and adequate bedding for the pullout...

“It was our first trip to Boothbay and we couldn't have been more pleased!!! The Shipbuilder's retreat was well appointed in every way! Wide open, well cared for, and comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and playing games in the evening. It was a convenient trip to the local grocery store, and was very near to all the beauty and joys of the Harbor, light house's, LL Bean (an hour), and hiking. We LOVE it! “Very clean, new, and modern. Only complaint is there could be a lot more kitchen utensils (ie. cheese grater, measuring cups/spoons, more pots/pans/mixing bowls. And more availability of blankets/pillows/garbage bags etc. Otherwise a beautiful spot in a great location! ”
