Property needs attention
Although the owner was very apologetic, I cannot offer a good review for this property at this time.
The temperature in the house was 79 degrees, on the 4th day amid apologies the owner agreed to have a repairman take a look. We abandoned our plans for the day to be available for a repairman. It was then discovered that a copper line was cut in the past when clearing weeds and brush from around the unit. The owner apologized and left a $100 bill for us (after previously mentioning “taking off a couple hundred”).
There were many smaller issues, a broken screen door, stains on couch, carpets, a very large brown stain on the box spring and both toilet seats were damaged and stained.
I had a frank discussion with the owner who was very apologetic said he was new at this and said that he would remove the house from VRBO until he addressed the items we discussed but too late for our "vacation".
As first time VRBO renters, this experience did not make a good first impression.
