La Petite Foret | Art Deco Apartment in Brussels' Historic City Centre

Step back in time to the early 1900s in our Art Deco flat, located just a short distance from the Stock Exchange (La Bourse) and the Grand Place (locating the flamboyant Town Hall, Baroque guildhalls and the neo-Gothic King's House) in the touristy heart of Brussels' buzzing nightlife area.

The apartment offers an eclectic and thoughtful curation of furniture, objects and wallpaper that merge glamour of yesterday and nowadays function right in the vibrant heart of the historic city centre.

If we are around, we are more than happy to show you around and inform you about the ins and outs of our apartment. If this would not be possible, we will make sure that exerting is cleared out and keys are available in a lock box.



The apartment is located in the centre of Brussels offering and is surrounded by numerous tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, museums, an opera house and concert halls, all within walking distance.

Our place is situated close to the buzzing nightlife area (St Géry). On particular days it can be noisy. We installed acoustic glazing to reduce the nuisance and offer earplugs free of charge for the light sleepers.



Check-in via key box. You will get instructions shortly before your arrival.
The key box can be found next to the front door. The silver key opens the building door, the red key gives access to the apartment on the second floor.

Our apartment of 165 sqm is on the 2nd floor without an elevator in a one-way street in the vivid area of Place Saint Géry, which makes it very calm and silent during the day but very booming at night. We have 3 bedrooms with double beds and 2 bathrooms with showers. One bathroom has a toilet, a second toilet is separate.

The apartment is a 10 min walk away from Brussels' central station and only 50 meters away from the nearest Metro Stop "Grand-Place / Bourse".

Enjoy the vibrant heart of Europe. Many touristy landmarks are only a stone throw away. The apartment is located close to the buzzing nightlife area (St Géry). On particular days it can be noisy. Great Location and Perfect for our Stay

The property is in a great location that makes it easy to walk to all the key areas of the city. Its comfortable and clean and has a lot of space for everyone. The check in process was easy and the host was very responsive. I would highly recommend this property if you are going to Brussels.

Charming apartment in a fun neighborhood.

I give this apartment five stars for it’s overall charm. It’s a beautifully set up apartment in a very old building that is above A busy café. My only caviat with this property is that you have to climb two very precarious sets of stairs to get to the apartment. if you have any issues with balance or leg strength, I would not recommend this. Otherwise it’s a wonderful place to stay and ideally situated in Brussels.

Business Trip in Brussels

The apartment is super well located close to the Halles of Saint Gény, with Metro closeby, a lot of restaurants, bars, shops....Ideally located in walking distance to major central places.La Petite Forêt is a super smart and unique place with its Art Déco atmosphere and furnitures.Very well equipped, with two distant rooms, so that it was perfect for the purpose of attending to a Congress with my colleague. The owner, Fred, was very helpful, and was very reactive for the few times we were quering for something.Just be aware that the entry door is a very heavy door, so once you have turned the key to unlock the door, you have to give a bump to the door with one's shoulder.I highly recommend this location for either business or family trip

Great location, huge apartment by European standards

Fun quirky apartment, but with some weird issues. First, one of the bathrooms doesn’t have a mirror, so I shaved in the living room. The coffee machine just got slower and slower, it needed a deep cleaning. It’s up two flights of stairs and the last few steps are very uneven. Also our lockbox code didn’t work. We got through it, we were able to get the help we needed.On the plus side, this apartment is beyond quaint and has a dinning room and a living room. The location is superb, walking distance to everything, and steps from the metro. We are Gay tourists and the Gay bars are a block away. The windows do need blackout curtains of some kind.
