Non possiamo dire di essere stati male. Personale molto gradevole e sempre disponibile all’aiuto. L’albergo però non può essere considerato un 4 stelle. Arredamento vecchio. Spugne da bagno trovate bucate e alcuni pezzi non puliti.

Good option in Brussels
Nice and clean hotel in Brussels, friendly staff. The area where the hotel is located is not the nicest in Brussels, however you walk 10 minutes and you are in city centre.

Hotel comodo per visitare Brussels
The Augustin è situato in posizione semicentrale, abbastanza vicino alla Stazione di Midi e a circa 800 metri dalla Grand Place, pertanto comodo per visitare la città e prendere il treno per fare una gita ad esempio a Brugge o Gand. L'albergo dispone di camere sufficientemente spaziose, letto grande e tv satellitare. Il bagno è completo anche se nel mio caso aveva la vasca con la possibilità di utilizzarla come doccia, sinceramente non comodissima come soluzione. Manca il bidet, ma all'estero è un classico. Purtroppo la hall è molto piccola e vi è solamente al piano sottostante un bar non molto grande con qualche seduta e la sala colazione. Direi in ogni caso una buona soluzione pur non essendo un vero 4 stelle.

Yellow and dirty water from the shower
The hotel is a common 4 stars from the first appearance but it hides dirtiness and inefficiency. I stayed 2 nights there and I had fear of making a shower. The water coming out from the tubes was of a yellow colour. I have discovered this when trying to fill in the bathtub, and then I have discovered that sand or rust was floating into the water. When the water flew out the sand was depositing on the bottom of the bathtub and clearly visible and touchable. I have told twice to the receptionist in two different moments. I have even shown to the second one who confirmed the problem. The second receptionist kindly offered me a breakfast for free but I told him that I wanted a shower. The hotel was full so they could not offer me another room, so I stayed without a clean shower and I could not brush my teeth. Except from the kind receptionist I was not contacted by anyone from the hotel for excuse or a compensation. Furthermore the power plug of the bathroom (the only one close to a mirror) was not working with my electric razor. I had to ask for an extension cable, which was even a bit broken with open wires, but at least worked. Another hidden aspect is the stairs which are very small, dangerous, dirty of dust and painting such as a construction stair.

Hotel Augustin, a good experience
Hotel appena ristrutturato con gusto, molto pulito e tranquillo. A due passi dalla Grand Place e da Place de la Bourse. Personale estremamente cordiale. Molto pulito e silenzioso. Ne vale la pena per un soggiorno di lavoro o di relax.

AUGUSTIN o AUNGUSTIN?
Il perosnale gentile e disponibile...ho trovato anche un ragazzo italiano che mi ha aiutato con una serie di richieste La camera è luminosa ma spartana, niente dotazioni tipo ciabattine e prodotti vari in bagno. No accappatoio..considerando che non è ecomonimico mi aspettavo qualche attenzione in più. La colazione buona, sembra risicata, ma alla fine c'è tutto. Si arriva a piedi dalla Gare du midi. la zona è ricca di ristorante islamici - quindi potreste non trovare alcol nel menu - ma i prezzi sono buoni , anche nei piccoli negozi di alimentari vicino l'Hotel. Si arriva a piedi anche in pieni centro con pochi minuti di passeggiata...prima si incontra il Maniken pis e subito dopo la Grand Place.

Albergo in comoda posizione
Albergo 4 stelle a metà strada fra la Gare du Midi dove arrivano i bus dall'aeroporto Charleroi e il centro storico pedonale. Tutto raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. La stranza ( quadrupla) era ampia, pulita e il servizio accurato con cambio della biancheria da bagno quotidiano. Gentile il personale e disponibile per il deposito dei bagagli prima e dopo la consegna della stanza. Check out possibile fino alle 12.00. Unici nei: l'albergo ha strutture comuni minime ( la "hall" è davvero minuscola) ed il resto è al piano seminterrato dove ancora si svolgono lavori in corso. Non bellissima la frequentazione, soprattutto notturna, della zona circostante. Ma nel complesso pregi ben maggiori dei difetti. Consiglio senz'altro il soggiorno.

Malgrado sia in fase di ristrutturazione e ci siano quindi disagi comprensibili, l'hotel è pulitissimo e funzionante, il personale è efficiente. Si trova in una posizione tranquilla, comoda,non lontano dalla stazione sud e dalla grande place.

This was my 3rd stay at The Augustin, staff always friendly and polite. The only issues we had this time was the fridge was not working and the shower hose leaked and would wet the bathroom a considerable amount. Was reported to reception who arranged for maintenence to sort it out. Breakfast buffet is between 7am-10am at €15 per adult.children under 12 free. I would advise not going late as the don't restock the hot food near closing time. Overall breakfast was good. Location of the hotel is really good about 10-minute walk from Eurostar and 10-15 to the centre depending how far you want to go. If I come back to Brussels I would definitely stay again.

Just 15 minutes walk from the Zuid station and 10 minutes walk from Mannekin Pis the location is very convenient. It has tall and spacious rooms. Only downside is that the restaurant doesn’t serve lunch or dinner.

Instalaciones muy antiguas, limpieza muy mejorable, desayuno escaso y poca variedad. Lo recomiendan para familias pero la cuna es inutilizable, y no hay ni una rampa para subir las escaleras de la entrada con un carro, y no son pocos escalones. Lo único bueno, la localización, cerca del centro y con la estación cerca, pero el barrio no parece muy seguro por la noche. Sin duda, no es lo que se espera de un hotel de 4 estrellas, y menos por el precio que tiene.

Bon hotel dans l'ensemble. Propre, bonne situation entre la gare du Midi et la Grand Place. Des travaux de rénovation ont actuellement lieu au 3eme et 4eme étage et peuvent occasionner un peu de bruit.

Déplacement Bruxelles.
Extérieur élégant mais chambre vraiment quelconque. Meubles et décoration défraîchis. Pas digne d’un 4 étoiles. Literie agréable. Salle de bain à refaire. Serviettes pas agréables. Accueil poli et personnel sympa. Je vais plus dans l’hypercentre d’habitude mais là grande place est à 8 10 minutes à pieds.

Good location
Good location with easy access to metro, train, and downtown by foot. Surprisingly quiet considering the location. Good water pressure and toiletries.

It's a nice, cosy little hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. However, the surroundings could have been better. The security could have been improved. It felt like anyone could just walk in. The lifts can be accessed without a key card as does the rest of the hotel facilities.

Nice hotel, shame about our room
The hotel is well located and looks good in the common areas. Unfortunately we were given a poor room on the top floor that had reduced headroom for about 1/3 of the space. The bathroom was particularly uncomfortable. When we checked in, we were told that someone had already been checked in under our name and the implication was that we were lucky to get a room at all. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable. Overall we were disappointed.
