“When we arrived the person at the front desk was absolutely AMAZING! He was very kind and helped us a lot throughout the entire night! The pool is not heated and was cold! The hot tub however was very nice! We didn’t notice anything off about our room until the morning! There was an entire colony of ants in our room! They got into our bags and our clothes ):”

“Absolutely LOVED this place!! It was so cute and historic! Built in 1909 it has so much character and felt like I was transported into a French renaissance era and my goodness it was the cleanest place ive stayed in. I’ve been to some 5 star hotels and this was even better!! If I’m ever in Lincoln again I know where I’ll be staying for sure! 10/10”

“Below average breakfast service. Like they were afraid to have too much out for folks. No milk for cereal, 1 slice of toast at a time. Always waiting for fresh coffee,bland oranje juice. No eggs or sausage and when it came out it was gone with a few people and had to wait again. In room coffee maker leaked, refridgerator was so noisy it had to be unplugged to beable to sleep. In room heater/cooler fascia was on the floor leaning on the unit with a knob missing but i managed to find the knob and...

“Clean and comfortable enough. Dull, safe location. OK breakfast for this tier of hotel. Some loud guests but was able to drown out their noise with bathroom fan. Front desk staff was very helpful in rebooking me for the same room when I needed to extend my stay one additional night. For a budget stay, this is above average.”

“There was a flashing light on a detector in our room that was distracting and the A/C didn't really cool the greatest and it was a little noisy when it did kick on. Otherwise I would definitely stay again as the Kickback and breakfast is definitely worth it!!”

“I liked the staff. All the staff I spoke with were very nice, friendly and helpful. The fact that this property excepts pets is the main reason I chose to stay there. I did feel safe; however, the room, particularly the bathroom was not very clean. There were dead bugs on the bathroom floor and a clump of hair stuck inside the toilet bowl. ”
