Our cabin is less than 2 years old and we just added a brand new hot tub. It is located in a small neighborhood right next to Deep Creek and Great Smoky Mountain National Park. the house is just a 2 minute walk to the creek and the neighborhood has a communal lot along the creek with steps to get in/out. You can tube from inside the national park all the way down to the neighborhood and get out at the shared lot.

It is also less than 5 minutes from the train and downtown Bryson City.

The house is best suited for couples but up to 4 can stay with the sleeper loveseat.

The cabin was very clean and great for two people close drive to town. Only downside is the mattress on the bed is very uncomfortable and the couch is very uncomfortable to sit on to watch tv Outside flood lights did not work

We were very happy with the accommodations. The cabin was clean and the little extras provided were very much appreciated. In addition to the pots and pans, there were some food items and condiments that were useful. The bathroom was clean and the towels that were provided or nice. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked wonderfully.The porch and porch furniture provided a good place to enjoy the outdoors. We did not use the hot tub, but it appeared to be working and clean.Suggestions for improvement: provide some outdoor lighting for the path from the parking spot to the porch stairs. Secure the steppingstones so that they don’t wobble from side to side. Dust the upper areas of the cabinets in the kitchen.We would gladly stay again.

Great little cabin for a quiet getaway!

The cabin was great! It’s on the smaller size and has quite a few residences in the area. There was a noticeable odor, I believe from the sofa that was there; could be from the prior occupants. Other than that, it was a nice quiet getaway! Thank you!

Quaint cabin near National Park

Cubs on the creek was a quaint little cabin close to the National Park and to town. It had everything we needed plus a grill and hot tub! We would definitely recommend and would personally stay there again.

A cute and cozy little cabin perfect for a couple’s trip to the mountains! Everything was very clean and just as advertised. It’s only a few minutes from downtown and perfectly located. Highly recommend!

Long weekend in Bryson

Cute tiny cabin. Just right size for 2 people 2 dogs. Good green space in front for dogs. Nice neighbors. Very close to park and only 5 minutes from town. The place was nicely stocked with essentials like soap and paper towels. Plenty of extra linens which we used to cover the windows for privacy. Enjoyed the hot tub one cool night. Owner was quick to respond when texted a question about where the creek access was located. We didnt end up using access because it was over grown and steep. Definitely wouldn't work for dogs. Only negative was that the AC struggled to keep it cool. But our visit was in August and the temps were mid-upper 80s.

Lovely get-away

Very nice for a couple and our little dog. Everything we needed. Bed very comfortable, and not too high. Hot tub great addition. Friendly neighbors. Right outside Deep Creek entrance to the park. Quick drive into Bryson City. The only thing we had trouble with was trying to figure out how the thermostat worked.

Excellent Property!!!

Beautiful & cozy for my husband, adult daughter, and myself! Bed was amazing to sleep in! Had a wonderful time in Bryson City! My only advice would be to maybe put up a privacy fence around the hot tub, like the neighbors closest to the road. Other than that, no complaints! Can’t wait to return to BC & will definitely book with James again!

Peaceful Cabin

Cabin in good location for waterfalls and tubing in Deep Creek. Neighbors closer than pictured but nice neighboring cabins. Clean and kitchen was well equipped!

A Treat for a Good Reader

The house seemed perfect for one or two people. It was clean and comfortable. I arrived at night so it was a little difficult to navigate the dark country roads using my google maps app. But once we finally arrived it was quite nice. This was a treat for a child that I tutor. She was thrilled!!

Hiking or Town your choice!

Great small cabin in town not far from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park where there are a lot of trails to hike with waterfalls and great scenery. Love the fact you could travel into town or go hiking all within a few miles.

Great location

Cabin is great except for 2 things. Cabins we have stayed in prior to this one had notebooks with how to operate everything. Thermostat, TV , etc. Had to manually turn on TV. 3 remote controls but only the Roku one worked. Never was able to turn TV off or adjust the volumn. TV was a Samsung but no Samsung remote. Only other issue was the couch. Very small & uncomfortable to sit on. We pulled it out into a singe bed and put pillows behind us so we could stretch out and watch TV. No TV in bedroom. My suggestion would be a small round table in the corner with 2 bar stools to sit and eat. Get rid of one of the side tables by the couch and put a queen sleeper sofa in the current couch's place or a sofa with a recliner at each end. We left a day early so we could come home to watch the World Series. We were never able to get the game on the TV Thursday night. Had to watch on my phone. Location to Bryson City is great! Just a few ideas for you.

We really enjoyed our stay it was close to town. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. It was awesome that we could bring our dog. We definitely want to come back.
