Questa cabina è molto riservata e isolata. Sono solo 10 minuti per il NOC, ma ti senti come se fossi nel mezzo della tua foresta pluviale privata. Nascosta ma completamente attrezzata, questa cabina è perfetta per due coppie o fino a una famiglia di sei persone.

La tua cucina è arredata con tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile tra cui lavastoviglie, forno a microonde e macchina per il caffè. C'è un bancone rialzato con posti a sedere sgabello in modo che tutti nella cucina / sala da pranzo / soggiorno possano godere della compagnia. Ti forniamo tutti i piatti, gli utensili e gli strumenti di cottura di cui avrai bisogno. Una griglia a gas è prevista per gli intenditori di barbecue (serbatoio pieno di propano incluso).

La grande sala è una camera a volta a 2 piani con la sporgenza del soppalco sopra. Dispone di un ampio soggiorno e zona pranzo con tavolo adatto per 6 persone (posti a sedere aggiuntivi per 2). L'arredamento in stile rustico moderno comprende divano / divanetto in pelle, pavimenti in legno, camino in pietra e interni con pareti in legno. C'è un sistema DirectTV con canali cinematografici e sportivi premium e un impianto stereo completo di lettore CD / DVD. Porta la tua musica o ascolta una delle decine di canali di musica digitale forniti dal satellite digitale. La grande sala si apre sul ponte coperto anteriore e sulla vasca idromassaggio.

Tutte le nostre cabine sono dotate sia di cuscini in piuma che in piuma nonché di piumini. Ogni letto ha un materasso rigido con imbottitura spessa e lussuose lenzuola interamente in cotone. Asciugamani da bagno di lusso sono forniti per il numero base di occupazione con asciugamani aggiuntivi per l'uso della vasca idromassaggio. Lenzuola e asciugamani per gli ospiti che utilizzano i futon per dormire sono previsti quando l'occupazione è superiore all'importo base di questa cabina, ma l'uso di queste lenzuola quando l'occupazione non lo garantisce può comportare costi aggiuntivi come definito nelle nostre prenotazioni pagina.

Oltre al soggiorno / sala da pranzo / cucina, il piano principale ha una camera da letto matrimoniale con accesso diretto al bagno al piano principale.

Il piano soppalco si affaccia sulla zona giorno e condivide l'apertura della grande sala. È dotato di un tavolo da biliardo in ardesia da 7 ', TV a schermo piatto, Sony Playstation 3, comoda sedia e un futon completo per dormire extra. Il piano superiore ha anche un'altra camera da letto matrimoniale e bagno padronale con grande vasca / doccia.

Impressed with late evening response

When a smoke alarm starts chirping at 10:45 in the evening most places will say will get to you tomorrow. I was super impressed with someone coming and changing the battery on the smoke alarm at 11:15 at night. We would’ve simply remove the battery except it required a very tall ladder to reach the chirping smoke alarm! Thank you again for a prompt late evening response!

Perfect Secluded Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and cozy for a rainy weekend. The hot tub was refreshing and playing pool was great. All the amenities were included including top notch appliances and cable tv. We couldn’t ask for a better location. The scenery was spectacular. We will be back.

Hiker's Rest

The cabin itself was very nice however the owners down the mountain have multiple dogs that will wake you up at 5 or 6 am every morning and its hard to sit around the hot tub or fire pit with dogs barking and fighting non stop. Also, the owners should pay more attention to the cleaning crew (very dirty hot tub), clothes and old water bottles left under furniture and generally not the cleanest. The worst was that we planned out clothes so we could wash them half way through the trip however the washer was broken and though they have a 24 hour number to call the will respond when they want too. I would not hesitate to use VRBO again but will not use that ownership group again.

Better have a 4WD vehicle & lots of earplugs

While the setting of this home is pretty & the home is clean, we didn’t realize we’d need a 4WD vehicle to get up & down the driveway. Upon arrival the electronic keypad didn’t work & needed to locate a key. The next day we discovered that electronic lock on the front door locks itself with no warning. But the worst part is the neighbors directly below this home have an outdoor kennel of dogs that bark, whine, and cry ALL NIGHT LONG and frequently throughout the day. We tried white noise & blaring the TV to no avail. After 2 nights of no sleep, we packed up and left. I understand that it’s not possible to control the neighbors dogs but it’s a problem. Several others before us noted this in the book inside the home. We were surprised none of the VRBO reviews mention it. The road into the property should be described in the listing.

Perfect 2 couple trip

We loved the property our dogs were so happy to hang with us around the fire pit the pool table added a friendly couple's competition. We enjoyed seeing the many waterfalls near buy, bryson city was a fun day trip there downtown area was super dog friendly and there were cool thrift shops near by. We went the end of February and the weather was amazing ! We lucked out! definitely want to come back for a summer visit for some white water rafting

Very Comfortable Mountain Cabin

We stayed a week at the Hiker's Rest cabin with our Daughter/Son-in-law and toddler Grandson (2 1/2 years) and had a good time. The hot tub was a hit and the cabin was clean and comfortable with just enough space for the little time we spend inside. I would suggest insuring you have cell service or obtain the hot spot from Watershed Cabin's to help plan the next days activities if you are new the area. We were not able to utilize the free daily offers due to no service, but we made it work. Also, I do not suggest this location for very young children if you are not willing to watch them ALL THE TIME. With four adults and one toddler who listens very well we did not have any issues, but could see there being problems if the young ones like to roam. Everything in the cabin worked well, but the stove needed to be manually lit at times for the right front burner and the BBQ grill has been reported to the owners as having some safety issues. All in all it was a nice location and a good place to spend a week away from all the daily issues.

Loved hikers rest

Family of 4 and cabin kept the two boys busy. Played a lot of pool and used the hot tub. Enjoyed the sounds of the creek nearby and the peacefulness of the mountainside.

Had a great trip and loved the cabin. Enjoyed the tranquility away from civilization. The cabin decor was tasteful and not overdone. Having the pool table was fun also. Would highly recommend.

Nice weekend getaway

This place was great for our trip. Not much to do in town but that is exactly what we wanted. The driveway is steep but otherwise easily accessible. I would stay here again if we decide to come back to the area.

Wishing short stay was longer

Only stayed a couple nights after hiking a week on the AT. Happy with our stay. Wishing we could have stayed longer. Pool table was fun and enjoyed the NOC and hiking the AT. Thank you for the clean accommodations.

Secluded cabin perfect for relaxation

Great location near the NOC. A few minutes drive to Rivers End Restaurant and all the NOC has to offer. Road to Cabin is gravel. Our 2WD vehicle made it, but I would suggest 4WD if you have it. Outside areas are beautiful. Did not get to use fire pit because it wasn’t cold enough, but the front porch and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a long hike. Close to Smoky Mountsin National Park. About an hour drive to Alum Cave trailhead. Clingmans Dome is even closer. Highly recommend seeing the waterfalls in Highlands and tubing at Deep Indian Creek. Loved whitewater rafting at the NOC!

We had a wonderful vacation at Hikers rest. Spacious for our family. Secluded enough to feel like getting away but close enough to all the attractions.

Beyond our dreams!

Where to begin...the cabin was absolutely perfect. Clean, well stocked, and welcoming. The view of the stars from the hot tub were breathtaking! Oh, and the hot tub itself...amazing! The fireplace was great and easy to operate. Pool table was fun too! I have nothing bad to say whatsoever!
