“Kind staff and comfy bed. Yes, the building and rooms are older, but they were clean, and that's what really matters at the end of the day. I'm traveling to Greensboro every weekend for the rest of the month and I plan on booking a room for each visit. Can't beat the price, and the room has everything you need. ”

“Beautiful house with great access to the lake. The neighbors were very friendly. The community boat ramp is not very good at all. I won't use it again. There is a public ramp (Crosby's) located about 10 miles by car and approximately 1 mile by boat, which is very nice. If you are parking a truck and boat trailer at the Cabin, you must be an expert at backing a trailer, as it is very tight.”

“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

“This place was so beautiful, quiet, and amazing!!! I have a horse allergy and no interest in horses so I almost didn’t book but options were running low and I took a risk and I’m so glad I did!! It was so EXTREMELY clean and I could’ve easily stayed for a week and had so much fun in such a calming environment. I can’t wait to come back with my kids and stay longer to truly enjoy how put together the inn was! ”
