Bay Cottage è una sezione di Ebbingford Manor. Risale a circa 850 anni fa, una volta aperto al pubblico, questo maniero offre ora un delizioso appartamento romantico e interessante.

Bay Cottage è la prima porta in cui ti imbatti quando sali sul vialetto di Ebbingfords, con il suo parcheggio fuori strada vicino alla porta di casa. Si entra direttamente nel soggiorno / sala da pranzo, un soffitto a volta con una luce del cielo rende questa una bella stanza luminosa. Le sue pareti combinano una splendida pietra antica con pannelli in legno, un tratto distintivo di questo antico maniero. Il soggiorno / sala da pranzo ha un piccolo tavolo da pranzo in rovere con due sedie; un divano; bruciatore di legno; TV, CD / radio con USB / Bluetooth e WiFi disponibili .. La camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale, un piccolo armadio con 3 cassetti e ulteriore spazio di stivaggio sotto il letto. La cucina include piastra cucina, lavatrice e microonde. Il bagno ha una doccia sopra una vasca ad angolo e servizi igienici. L'intera proprietà è al piano terra e solo circa 500 piedi in totale con riscaldamento centralizzato a gas. Lenzuola e asciugamani forniti. Giardino con tavolo e due sedie.
I cani sono ammessi, per le razze piccole / medie solo a causa delle dimensioni dell'alloggio. Il giardino confina con il resto dei terreni del maniero, quindi non è sicuro che i cani possano vagare liberamente.
Situato nel centro della città, Ebbingford è poco conosciuto anche a Bude, situato in una zona appartata, nascosto dai venti occidentali sotto le feci di Efford Down, rendendolo una meravigliosa trappola per il sole in quelle giornate limpide. Molto da esplorare con passeggiate costiere, spiagge sabbiose, golf, pesca, surf e nuoto a portata di mano. Inoltre Clovelly, Boscastle, Tintagel Castle, Rock & Padstow a soli 30 minuti in auto a.

Tucked-away Holiday Home … just a few minutes stroll from beaches and town.

A perfect holiday home for two with everything we needed for our week-long stay, including on-site parking (a boon in Bude). Once through the stone pillared gateway, we felt as though we were off the beaten track … yet a few minutes got us to the canal (easy circular walk, passing through a nature reserve), the wide and sandy beaches, the Heritage Centre (free entry to museum art exhibitions cafe) and the town (cafes and independent shops galore).Our friendly hosts were on hand should we have needed them, but everything went like clockwork. The bed was super-comfy, the living room had good dining and seating areas, the kitchen had crockery and cutlery for four and the bathroom had a constant supply of hot water (we bathed; we didn’t shower). There isn’t a fenced area for a dog … but with so much dog-friendly choice on your doorstep, it didn’t present a problem. I have resolved to check for future availability of this wonderfully-located hideaway.

Lovely little property, excellent location!

Ideal for two people and a dog!We had 4 nights at Bay Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it.It's a cosy little place but has everything you need and is perfectly located - close to the canal, river, town centre and beach; but not too close.The hosts were superb - friendly and helpful with great communications. Check in was as easy as it gets, as was check out.The place was clean and basics, such as soap, washing up liquid and even some tea and coffee were provided. The central heating system was very effective but, while there is a nice wood-burning stove and a basket for logs, you do need to get your own if you want a fire - a few logs to get you started would have been a lovely touch. By coincidence, we met both Gina and Jon on the day we arrived. Jon mentioned some visitors had commented on the sofa needing replacement and asked our opinion. We concluded it probably does as it's a bit saggy but it was perfectly fine for our stay.Our only actual negative was the shower water temperature. While the combi-boiler did heat the water suitably, the mixer tap needs some adjustment - it's currently got too much cold mixing so it's only just about warm enough... it's sort of ok once you are in but getting in takes some building up to (a bit like getting in the sea!). under the water. I'll message Jon directly and hopefully he'll adjust it. Plenty of hot water for the bath though.The real test is whether we'd stay there again and it's a definite "Yes" from us!

Late November week away

Perfect holiday space for two people. Ideal location and private parking spot within grounds and just a short walk to the town centre. In short, everything we hope for when we book accommodation!Very happy customers!Just a footnote for any future visitors, Life's a Beach, the Olive Tree (-amazing Ploughmans) and La Bocca are the pick of the local eateries...All three outstanding.

Suitable in Every Way

For a person holidaying alone, this was great. I loved the closeness to the town and the beach. And many other beautiful destinations within easy reach. The cottage had all I needed and was ideal for a cosy autumn stay. A real gem.

Bay Cottage

Bay cottage was small but clean, lighting could have been brighter in all areas and a safety handle for getting out of the shower would be good. The position of the cottage was great for visiting Bude, a short walk to town and beach and to local pub for eating out. We enjoyed our stay at Bay Cottage and would consider using again.

Fabulous, quiet location

My Wife & I had a fabulous stay in the Bay Cottage. For two people it has ample space to sit & relax after a long day exploring Glorious Bude & the surrounding area, whilst also enjoying 7 nights of peaceful sleep. Once you enter the drive to your own dedicated parking space you cannot believe you're only a 5 minute stroll from the nearest pub, the Brendon Arms, the Falcon Hotel & only 10 mins into the centre of town. When we return we would most definitely look at booking this accomodation again.

Brilliant little cottage

My second stay was as good as the first! The cottage is well-equipped, very clean and within easy walking distance of the beach, canal and town centre. The Wi-Fi works perfectly as does the tv, cooker, hot water etc. A designated parking place is a real bonus for a town like Bude as is the outside space with table and chairs.

Bay Cottage is just right for our stays when down visiting family nearby. Easy access to the beach, canal and town centre. Parking away from the main road, and safe. Sounds of the birds waking you in the morning confirms this oasis of peace, despite the town location. Large grounds giving plenty of space to walk your dogs last thing at night. Owners in easy reach and happy to sort any problems with a smile.

Great location

Had a lovely stay at Bay Cottage with our dogs. Fantastic location. A quick 5 minute walk into the centre of Bude. A pub within walking distance. The hosts were onsite and available if required. Just feel the woodwork in the bathroom and kitchen could do with some tlc. Apart from that, the cottage is fine for a week away.

Return visit

Love this little cottage which is fine for us and our two Cocker Spaniels. Close to the beach, and the heart of Bude but still very secluded. You just don’t realise it’s there from the roadside. Makes it especially quiet, although lovely to wake to birdsong. Walk to town, the beach or along Bude Canal, all within easy reach. We’ve stayed here a few times now, as so convenient to visit family who live up the road a bit. As the car is parked on the grounds, no hassle with finding parking spaces either.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The main thing for us was its location. The only downside was having no outside space where we could go without the dogs on leads. Even a few enclosed feet would have made the holiday perfect.
