Very comfortable hotel with large rooms. Classic Balinese. The staff is outstanding. Very conveniently located in the heart of Lovina. I recommend it.

Problème wifi
Bel hotel avec un joli jardin tropical. Personnel très agréable et serviable.Les chambres budget sont corrects par contre, le wifi saute sans arrêt, j'avais deux demi journées en conference call.... impossible alors que j'avais bien précisé lors de ma réservation que j'en avais un besoin impératif. Suffisant pour e-mail et faire des recherches Google ou autre.

Je suis heureux d'apprendre que vous avez apprécié les chambres à petit budget. En ce qui concerne le WiFi, nous avons 2 connexions à l'hôtel avec Biznet qui fournissent chaque section 200 MBG, puis celle-ci est relayée aux liens TP. Dommage que vous ne m'avez pas contacté pendant votre séjour et je vous aurais aidé à être dans la bonne zone pour votre conférence. Mes filles travaillent en ligne ici sans problème et ont des conférences téléphoniques.

We loved everything about rambutan!! The location- so central to food, shopping, Lovina beach! Staff were lovely and the accommodation was spectacular! Plus pools, the spa and lovely outdoor areas. We will absolutely go back there next time in Bali!

Excellent breakfast served with a smile - short walk to the beach and very helpful staff - room was clean and had everything you need. The two pools were very clean and we enjoyed every day sitting there after the beach - many great warungs close by for dinner !! Thanks for a great stay

We stayed at the Rambutan Boutique Hotel for 9 nights , we stayed in a villa opposite the smaller of the two beautiful pools. The villa was lovely , the bed was very comfortable , with very nice quality bed linen . The bathroom was large and well appointed . We could not get over how beautiful the grounds were and the staff were always doing something in the gardens . Al the staff were very pleasant and helpful and always smiling and nothing was too much trouble . If we are lucky enough to go to Lovina again we would defiantly stay here again. Thank you for a lovely holiday .

Our second time staying here and again it did not disappoint. Rambutan is a graceful traditional Balinese hotel set in lush tropical gardens with comfortable accommodation, 2 beautiful pools, friendly smiling staff and restaurant serving great food. It is centrally located, close to Lovina beach, warungs, a traditional market, shops and atms. Hospitable hosts Richard & Tini live on site. Loved our stay here.

Thanks for pointing out things about our place. Hot water is on gas and sometimes the gas runs out. We do have a sign in the room about the gas but sorry about that. Glad you enjoyed our two pools and one hectare of tropical gardens in the centre of Lovina.

This is a decent hotel but I wouldn’t stay there again. The service was mediocre and in Bali you can get so much more for that amount of money. Not worth the price here, I think.

Beautiful grounds, very quiet, clean, balinese style. Great place to relax and enjoy nature sounds. Good location, close to the beach although most of our time was spend at the hotel pool as it was quieter and cleaner than the beach. Good restaurants around as well as supermarket and pharmacy. Good service. Internet not very strong in the room but you can manage. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. If you want quiet and relaxation this is your place. Very tired looking rooms, window in bathroom is fixed open, so you get the constant smell of fire smoke in the room. The location and complex though are very good Also did not appreciate being pesttered to take a taxi/ride inside the complex- what happened to privacy?

Regarding the windows, all our windows can be closed, so I think you did not look at it closely. Sorry about you being asked about if you wanted transport inside the complex. We do not allow this and will try and find out how this happened.

Fin pool, men det var det enda.
Tyvärr så levde detta hotell inte upp till våra förväntningar! Gymet var under all kritik, och delar av hotellet var under byggnation! Frukosten hade litet urval ur en meny. Däremot var personalen trevliga och hjälpsamma! Kommer inte återvända till detta hotell.

Thank you for your comments. The gym is only small and is advertised that way. A short walk away there is a complete gym that only costs $5. Sorry about the construction but it is just one house and will be finished soon.

An older Bali resort, room was clean , interesting bathroom, fridge noisy ( we called it the snoring dinosaur) towels old and thin, airconditioner worked. The safe was at floor level which was a little hard to negotiate, you had to kneel down and use your phone torch to see the numbers. Pool was fine, staff sweet and friendly. We were disturbed to find construction work going on on our arrival and duri g the whole stay. No mention was made of this on booking. Discussion with manager regarding due to the noise, we objected to the increased request for more money. We were advised this was due to our booking through Expedia! And if we wanted a room in a different part of the resort away from the noise we had to pay. This we did eventually. A sour note to begin with

Lovely, vintage Balinese feeling and look to this resort, friendly staff, good service. The rooms were air conditioned and the main areas were open with ceiling fans. Plants, flowers, and Hindu temple sculptures all around. There was always an extra fan for us to use. Nice spa area with everything offered. Two refreshing pools with lounge chairs for all. Erg fijn verblijf gehad! Goede service, fijne locatie en goed ontbijt! We waren erg tevreden en hebben genoten van de tijd bij Rambutan. Als we dan iets opmerken; misschien wat weinig stopcontacten in het verblijf.. maar dat is dan ook alles ;-) Kortom, super fijn verblijf gehad en zou het iedereen aanraden!

Bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous avons pris une chambre à 28€ et tout était correcte. Propreté, accueil, 2 grandes piscines et superbe jardin arboré. Notre bungalow donnait sur la route donc c était un peu bruyant. La literie est à changer (le matelas est très très mou)

Dejlig have men hotellet lever ikke op til forventningerne. Vi havde problemer med ekskrementer fra muligvis firben i sengen, i vores tøj, i klædeskabet samt på borde og vask i badeværelset. Dette til trods for det blev sprøjtet for utøj samt skiftet sengetøj den første dag. Dejlig pool, morgenmaden begrænset da man skal vælge hvilket set man ønsker, så det er enten eller og ikke både og. Massage på stedet meget dyr og maden på hotellet var også i den dyre ende

Sorry to hear you had some problems. We do sometimes get small lizards in our rooms, as the hotel is set in a lush tropical garden, which you enjoyed. Most people enjoy our spa and its spacious artistic surroundings and the restaurant in my opinion for a 3 star hotel is very reasonable priced. Rambutan is situated in the central area of Lovina, so there are plenty of choices just a short walk away.

Despite how old the hotel was, the facilities were really clean and well maintained, and the staff were experienced and friendly. Plus, the location had a lot of good food options around and only a 5 minute walk from the beachfront! Really convenient and in a good location.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rambutan Cottages. Our last visit had been 23 years ago and we were thrilled to see it is still owned and managed by Richard and Tini. There are now two pool areas surrounded by beautiful, tranquil gardens. We stayed in the Putri Villa for three nights and loved it so much we have already planned a return trip for next year. The bed is super comfy, the room has lots of windows looking out onto the garden, a light filled living area, a fabulous open air bathroom, plus a lovely verandah to relax on sipping tea as the afternoon rains fell on the garden. The staff are ever smiling, the pool is super clean and refreshing, and breakfast was always delicious. TerIma kasih Richard dan Tini... sampai jumpa tahun depan!!

Lovely older style hotel
The Rambutan is a lovely older style Balinese hotel with beautiful greenery and gardens. There are many types of accommodationist the hotel. We chose a 2 bedroom villa which was large and well furnished but very dark. Our villawas up the back and the paving could do with an upgrade to ensure it’s as safe as possible. Staff were very helpful, breakfasts fine from a choice of menu, parking on site. Wifi was a bit hit and miss. The location is great in central Lovina and close to everything. We would stay here again.

Hi Wendy. Thank you for the review and we are very happy you enjoyed your stay with us. The Permaisuri villa you stayed in was a very traditional villa with Balinese carved wooden windows, so yes maybe a little dark in the bedroom. Looking forward to having you back.
