“We loved the ambience of the hotel. Everywhere you looked were bits of history from photographs and paintings to the antique furniture. The room was comfortable with all the amenities you could need and the staff was friendly and attentive to all our needs. It was a FABULOUS find!”

“We stayed 4 nights and highly recommend Hotel Varusha. Everyone we met from checking in to our departure was friendly and helpful, even using a translation device to chat about the fascinating history of Veliko Tarnovo. The location is in the Old Town and in a good location for sightseeing, cafés and restaurants. Our room had a lovely view over the atmospheric orange -tiled rooftops to green hills beyond. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. We didn't use the kitchenette...

“ The hotel in general and our room in particular was clean, refreshed and welcoming. The pool T was perfect, kids loved the water slide. There was an issue with the payment, but the staff worked out the problem and it was solved in the end. Overall an amazing 3 days there. ”
