“Just beautiful. The Tavern is a great place to spend your evening. Price is fair. Breakfast options could be better…is it too much to ask for toast and HOT coffee?”

“I booked a room for one night for myself, my husband, and our sons. We chose a room featuring a king-size bed and a pull-out sofa. However, there was absolutely no bedding provided in the room! I had to strip the sheet off our own bed just to make up the sofa for the boys. There were also no extra pillows or blankets, and the towels were barely enough for two people... All in all, it’s a good thing we were only staying for one night! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.”

“I have stayed at this hotel several times now. The female owner/receptionist is so kind! She recognizes my face now that I have stayed there so many times. If you need more towels or washcloths you just have to ask. The hotel room was clean no bed bugs or anything. The hotel itself is run down and could use an upgrade but then that will make the prices jump. Currently the daily rate is very affordable. The office is accommodating if you need to stay an extra day or if you need to check in early...

“I stayed 2 nights in the first night. There was a hip hop party right next to my room and I had to listen to booming base until midnight when I had an important event I was to be at the next morning. When I tried to check out, they told me that the room I stayed in was not under my name, and she could not give me my $100 incidental fee back, until they did some more research. Scheduling loud music parties until midnight and not even having the room I stayed in under my own name, is certainly bad...

“this is an ok hotel, but the reason for the low rating is that when I walked into the lobby to check in it was just like I had entered the set of a Cheech and Chong movie. the smell of p*t would knock you down it was so overwhelming. I got a buzz waiting to check in. I could smell it all the way down the hallway and around 2 corners to our room, but fortunately not in the room. I don't know who is running this hotel, but that is just unacceptable.”

“Good hotel for the price. I liked the refrigerator with the freezer. I was able to refreeze my ice blocks for my cooler. very spacious. good parking, close to the room I was in. good guest services.”
