“Definitely consider a stay at the Flat Iron when in Asheville. The historic charm comes through the modern updates with thoughtful design. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a surprise beverage upon check-in. The bed is very comfortable and the shower water pressure is strong (bonus!). Location is walkable to several dining and beverage options, yet the blackout shades provided an environment for a restful sleep. Several thoughtful touches make this a memorable hotel. “Abbington Green is a wonderful place to stay. Our hosts were so personable and helpful, our room was very clean with lovely decor and a comfy bed. The breakfasts were delicious (the strawberry lemonade-only my!!) and served with a smile. We would love to return. ”

“The complimentary breakfast menu is quite extensive. Our only challenge is that the desk in the room was so large it left only a very narrow pathway in the room - we resolved by turning it sideways. Otherwise the accommodations were quite satisfactory ”

“Cool location. Love repurposed old buildings with modern amenities, so this was a treat. Funky, hip, urban, edgy. Good restaurant with cool decor. Good coffee. Easy routes to outdoor activities and artisan shops. Brewery right across the river. Walking trails nearby. Loved it.”

“Beautiful room with super comfy beds. Quiet. Only issue was it was a handicapped room, yet the toilet was super low and had NO grab bar for elderly mother to pull up on. I scooted a small storage cube from under the sink area and managed to squeeze it in by the toilet and shower stall. It worked. But I would surely expect a handicap room to have a comfort height toilet with nearby grab bars. We also had a lovely light breakfast of yogurt, fruit and Starbucks. Very luxurious stay.”
