“Lovely hotel / pub in a very scenic location. Beautiful views. We had 2 cottages for our extended family group of 7 adults/ 4 children. Spent the afternoon enjoying the patio drinks and watching the water flow. Had a delicious Sunday dinner in the lovely upper dining room. Beds were comfortable and had everything we needed . Would definitely stay again .”

“From the minute we stepped inside we were welcomed by friendly helpful staff. The rooms were clean and roomy. The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. Would definitely stay again and would definite, recommend, 100%.”

“Loved the position of the hotel , on the canal so we could walk along the to-path into the centre , which was a short walk . You could see the canal boats go by. The room was clean , well maintained & very comfortable . Daily maid service was extremely efficient . We had a problem with the television which was dealt with as soon as we informed the staff. Breakfast was great, my husband had the full Yorkshire breakfast which he said was brilliant , I had continental , there was lots of choice &...
