Pet Policy
Pet Fee: $55 per pet, per night

Disclosure & Approval Required:
All pets must be disclosed and approved prior to arrival. Pets not disclosed during booking will be considered a violation of house rules.

• Dogs only
• Maximum of 4 dogs
• Cats are strictly prohibited due to severe allergies

Pet Rules:
• Dogs must be crated when left unattended
• No pets on furniture or beds
• Guests are responsible for all pet waste cleanup (indoors and outdoors)

Undisclosed Pets / Violations:
• Undisclosed pets will result in additional cleaning charges
• A $500 fee applies for unreported pets
• Guests are responsible for extraordinary cleaning, sanitization, and/or item replacement caused by pet-related contamination, including bedding, furniture, rugs, and upholstery

Inspection & Enforcement:
The home is professionally inspected after each stay. Any violations discovered during post-checkout inspection may result in additional charges, even if discovered after departure.

The hot tub was a hit with all who used it! The cabin was clean and very spacious. It was decorated beautifully for the holiday season.There were 11 of us and we never felt cramped. The recreation area downstairs was terrific. Our host was very responsive. Burnsville is a sweet small town.

The house was spacious and had everything you could want for cooking. It had a particularly impressive supply of accoutrements for making your favorite morning coffee or tea of choice—perfect for sipping on the balcony and looking at the gorgeous view. The outdoor fire pit with swings was our favorite spot to watch the sunset—so comfortable with space for all. Viv, the host, was super responsive to questions before our stay and we didn’t have any during it, but she made sure to check in with us and make sure even though it was Christmas. Also the house was really nicely decorated for Christmas which we really appreciated!The driveway is no joke—be prepared for a narrow, steep drive, but our minivan made it up and down several times (glad we didn’t have any rain or snow).

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is gorgeous, and the views are absolutely striking. We had a lot of fun lounging in the beautiful space, playing board games, and enjoying the fire pit. Vik was also very responsive throughout our stay and made sure we were comfortable. We would love to come back again!

Stayed here for my sisters bachelorette party and it was fantastic! Beautiful property, spacious living quarters, and the view was phenomenal. From sipping coffee on the balcony to using the hot tub and fireplace at night, this was the perfect girls retreat. It was just close enough to Asheville that we were easily able to pop in for a night out. Would recommend!

Amazing views and so much more!

Our family of 12 enjoyed a long weekend and it truly was Almost Heaven! From the amazing sunrises and sunsets to the fully appointed mountain cabin, we had an amazing time! Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and downtown Asheville were all easy driving distances and offered fun for all!Great location and beautiful cabin atop your own mountain! Who could ask for more!

We stayed at Vik's cabin with our extended family (7 adults, and 7 kids). The cabin was a great size for a large group, and so well stocked with kitchen equipment, baby gear, toys/kids books, etc. We all had a wonderful time and Vik was an incredible host!

Professionalism in a host

I wish I could say more about the property itself, as it looked spectacular online, and lead to my booking. However, due to the catastrophic flooding on the day of our check-in, we were unable to make it to the property. My experience with the host, Vik, is what inclined me to leave a review anyway. He was more than helpful is discussing the possible weather event prior to our departure and travel towards the North Carolina mountains. When those concerns came to fruition, and we our route was compromised, Vik answered the call and helped to attempt to find another route the the property. When this also failed (again, the flooding was catastrophic) he kept in contact and messaged me to make sure we remained safe. Because we were unable to make the trip, Vik worked with VRBO on getting us a refund for the weekend. I am more than pleased with his graciousness and helpfulness during a stressful event and would not hesitate to book his property again!

Beautiful Cabin!

The cabin is beautiful and very spacious. We had 8 people in our group and we had plenty of room, lots of seating and space to spread out. The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds were comfortable, great towels, firewood provided, etc. The view is amazing! It was a wonderful weekend.
