Hotel a Burtholme

“Wonderful place to stay, quiet and it had everything we wanted, home from home and so many local walks, and dog friendly too.”

“Staff were excellent. Very nice outside area to eat in summer ! You must book in advance. (We didn't unfortunately) Meal was excellent and good breakfast the next day. Ample parking.”

“The staff were very helpful, the room clean and the bed comfortable.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The food was very good, the room was large and clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.”

“Nice hotel at great value. We had a 1 night stay with our dog and were very comfortable.”

“Stayed during owners transition, that's why the kitchen served only breakfast and it was amazing! The same helpful staff. Short business stay, I visit a lot of hotels and I do appreciate smaller ones. Room had a nice design, comfortable bed and modern bathroom, all very clean and well kept.”

“Great parking. We didn’t realise when we booked that the pub would shut at 8 pm on the Sunday which was disappointing but they gave us a key to enter the building and to come and go as we wanted. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.”

“La struttura andrebbe rinnovata. In particolare il bagno era veramente antiquato (tra l'altro la doccia era talmente fioca che non abbiamo potuto utilizzarla).”

“In stile molto scozzese. Colazione a buffet buona. È un posto da cerimonie. Possibile trovare molta confusione. Un po' distante dal paese.”

“La camera era sufficiente ma non spaziosa però il contesto davvero notevole. Il personale molto gentile. Il Pub accogliente con una cucina ottima. Le sale comuni dotate di biliardo ed altri giochi. Intorno una campagna piena di animali ed una natura esuberante. Un posto che vale il traggitto per raggiungerlo. Menzione speciale per i maialini da compagnia....”

“Such a neat location! Wish we could have stayed longer. It was a rushed overnight in transit between sights. The host was so kind. Appreciated the clean room and the breakfast options.”

“Soggiorno piacevole. Personale cortese e disponibile e servizio efficiente. Purtroppo, scarsa insonorizzazione delle camere.”

“Room was clean and tidy on arrival Staff went above and beyond very helpful nothing was to much Breakfast was amazing lots of choice whatever your taste and all the food that came out looked good liked the fact juice and pasties where available as well as tea/ coffee and toast. We took our dog and again the staff order water and happily gave him a sausage for his breakfast. A lovely hotel in centre of Britain definitely worth a stop over”

“Good value for money: clean room, good breakfast, close to train station ”

“A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities”
