“Room was clean and refurbished but let down by the bathroom
The toilet was badly located and toiletries insufficient ( particularly as there was nowhere to shower in spa) due to no changing rooms being available
Parts of the hotel have been refurbished and are lovely although often just superficial but the other parts are very tired and and unloved.
Spa - the areas which were available were very good and clean but again doors were lacking in cleanliness and if you look closer corners are...

“What a pleasant place this was. We had food in the Dolly bar and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and had everything you could want
If I was being picky it would of been lovely to of seen outside lights from the bar so you could see the river in the dark”

“Stayed in a pod with hot tub, great use of space and logs provided for the burner.
Outside area could benefit from some small touches like solar fairy lights, dry seating cushions and maybe robes.
Fabulous sleep, so tranquil, great breakfast, good selection and tasty , hot food.
Swimming pool was out of use, no partial refund was offered.
Overall a very pleasant stay.”

“Massage was terrible , the spa wqs definitely not like described on the website. The house keeping didnt arrive until 3pm. Staff was rude. Definitely not what i expected”
