“Arrived but door code didn't work. However phone answered quickly,staff friendly and helpful, problem solved straight away. Good place for an overnight stay, supermarket outlets at petrol stations nearby. Good night's sleep.”

“First time to the area, for a family wedding at another venue. Staff were great, friiendly with out being over bearing. Room was clean and well maintained and although we only had bar snacks and drinks on site, they were great.”

“Lovely ancient pub in this Pennine village. Staff could not have been more helpful. Property in good condition (the sloping floors are just a mark of the age). Food standard pub fare, but well presented.”
