Great get-away!

We had a wonderful time at this property! Very clean, comfy bed, and beautiful yard. We had a bonfire and a few deer came to join us. The community lake is gorgeous as well! Martin the host was very attentive.

A Hidden Gem for All Ages

We just returned from an incredible stay at this property, and I can't recommend it enough! Nestled along a charming stream, we were captivated by the abundant wildlife and the soothing sound of the water. Even with a few rainy days, our family, ranging from 4 months to 76 years old, had an unforgettable time. The house was spotless and exceeded our expectations with many unadvertised amenities that made our stay so effortless. I was amazed to find fishing poles and other essentials already provided—definitely a lesson learned for my packing next time! We visit this area often, but this property has become our new favorite. We can't wait to come back and create more wonderful memories here. Thank you for a truly fantastic experience!

The yard, creek and adorable large black bear were amazing

The beds were all comfortable, which is a big win. Seeing a large bear in the backyard was the highlight along with mating, groundhogs, deer and wild turkey nearby. The woods and Creek made it and more amazing experience than we could have guessed from the photos. Martin was very responsive and as one Vrbo owner to another was very pleased to receive our suggestions for making it even better

Short Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Oasis. Any questions that we had were promptly answered. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials including grilling utensils, etc. We loved the creek at the back of the home! The amenities (pool, hot tub) were lovely as well! Thank you for a great stay!

Great Location and Friendly Host

The house was very nice on the inside and the surrounding area was beautiful. It was very quiet and peaceful and everyone had a great time. The only small problems were that the hot water ran out quite fast in my opinion and there was minor damage on the doors. Overall, it was a great stay and Martin is an amazing host.

Great trip and atmosphere

Exceptional time with my brothers and cousins on the perfect weather weekend. Great creeks for fishing and having a relaxing time. The house has a nice jacuzzi, plenty of amenities, and activities in driving distance. The owner was very responsive and helpful with all questions and updates.

Quiet, Cozy, Comfortable

The house is beautiful and the backyard view alone is worth it. If it wasn't so cold we would have spent our time outside. We had a short and comfortable stay. Martin was very attentive and available. I'm greatful and appreciated him reaching out. We went for a ski trip and Shawnee mountain was less than twenty minutes away. The kitchen was equipped enough for our short stay. Do bring your own anemeties and groceries, especially if you are a big group, although the house did have some cute anemeties as well. The house was plenty big for a group of seven. There is basketball available which wasn't expected from the pictures, and it was a nice additional touch. The pictures are true. It is a private estate and you will have to take your trash to the dumpster on your way out of the area. Overall, we loved our stay, especially for the cost. We will consider this for future ski trips and would love to check it out during other seasons as well.

very accomodating/could use a new coat of paint on walls

Property wasn't as clean as expected, but Martin was very helpful, awesome and even credited me because of it. The appliances are new and very nice. It also stunk because me and my daughter both ended up with Covid. I would bring extra cooking supplies if you plan on cooking for a large crew - there wasn't much there. I did bring a air fryer which was pretty awesome to have. be forewarned, the driveway is very steep and seemed a bit scary to use, but after the first day we were fine. Also, everything is about a 20-30 min drive away since this is in the mountains. Ski resorts are about an hour. Not too many places deliver food to your actual house. There are some really good pizza places around. I really wish the weather was colder and we had snow! I can't imagine how beautiful it woul dhave been. The

Great Stay

1st time to Poconos

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and Martin was an awesome host. The backyard was great and we enjoyed the creek. We felt very safe at Sawmill Creek and enjoyed all of the amenities. Location is close to many attractions. We have rented several properties off of VRBO and Martin by far is the best host we have dealt with. I would highly recommend this property.

Great getaway!

Great place to stay… as advertised. Martin answered all questions immediately. We were 7 all together and had so much space in the house. The backyard was lots of fun… fire pit and creek were amazing!

Excellent!!!!!!!

The house was just as pictured. The host is phenomenal!!! There was no extra linens left i texted him and in five minutes we had linens. Martin checked on us the next morning to see if we were okay. The house was very cozy and clean. We enjoyed our stay and the amenities and location were excellent. Thank you soo much for making our family vacation so memorable. Definitely will return!!!

Enjoyable Pocono family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here! We mainly booked it because of the backyard. My kids really enjoyed going into the creek and skipping rocks. The older adults enjoyed it because of the horseshoe pit and the fire pit. The nights were quite and that's exactly what we were looking for. Martin was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. He even dropped fishing poles off for my boys because we forgot ours. Very generous on his part! I feel that the house was advertised as providing all paper products. There was plenty of TP but not enough paper towels. But I bet if I asked Martin, he would have dropped more off. But we just picked up a roll when we were out. I would suggest bringing your own fire wood. The house is along the water and you might be able to find a few logs but not enough to keep the fire burning for a while. We purchased some before we went and ended up leaving the rest for the next tenant because we didn't feel like packing it up again.

Great Home for a quick getaway
