Cottage a Bushmills

“I highly recommend Woodleigh Cottage to anyone one looking for a charming cottage while visiting the Antrim Coast of Northern Ireland. It's conveniently located with ~ a 30 minute drive to most local attractions, and a 6-minute drive to the lovely town of Ballycatsle. The host, Eleanor, was gracious, responsive, and accommodating. She has done a wonderful job making the cottage a warm and cozy retreat for travelers to the area!”

“At best the photos are misleading. The chairs in the photo were not there. The cooking utensils were one very small saucepan. The cups were dirty. There were no towels, tea towels or toilet rolls or plug for the kitchen sink. Central heating was an infrared heater on the wall. The sink in the bathroom was rusty and discoloured the water. The whole room was grubby. The WiFi and tv did not work. Several people tried and failed to get it working. The outside area was run down with broken equipment...

“My boyfriend booked this stay for my surprise birthday getaway and it was beautiful. We loved the cultural and historical significance of the cottage and the decor was stunning. We loved the hot tub out the back, it was private and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and the parking was so handy. We ordered an Indian Takeout and it didn't take long to arrive at all. We hadn't even finished our stay and were already talking about coming back. Its such a perfect getaway to be in nature. ”

“The property was nice and clean and the location was good for going to The Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle The only thing that we found was a bit strange was the statue in the room. It was a little bit unnerving when you woke up in the middle of the night! We just turned it away from us”
