“Great place to stay for the weekend to explore the Flint Hills. We spent time in Council Grove and the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. Space was comfy and well-decorated. We did not cook at home so can't say for sure everything needed is there but it seemed to have the basics. There was food in the fridge, not sure if it was left by the last renters or for us by the owner. It appeared unopened but the items were odd - OJ, yogurt, flavored water, and Sprite Zero. “I'm a Bourdainian traveler; for me, a hotel/motel is a place to sleep (including grabbing a quick nap if it's been a long day). I want clean; I want comfortable; I want quiet. This place delivers all three at an incredibly low room rate. The room was immaculate (and spacious). The bed gave me a great night's sleep. And I didn't hear a sound beyond the AC (which worked like a champ). I would definitely stay here again.”

“The property is old and very rundown. Our first room had dead bugs in the bathroom and the tub was either stained very bad or just filthy. They gave us a different room that was just as old with peeling paint and dirty baseboards but there were no bugs. I tried to find another room but it was a small town and couldn’t find a vacancy. “This the 2nd year i have stayed here and i love it! its super cute and cozy. i also felt very safe when there was a tornado warning as it is partly underground. the managers were super with their communication when i messaged them. bed comfortable, nice big tv, great little kitchen. i will be going back next year!!!!”
