  • Set in the peaceful hamlet of Crowdecote this charming cottage sits among rolling hills and limestone valleys in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The surrounding landscape is known for its dramatic scenery and wonderful walking routes, with footpaths leading straight into the countryside from the village. Just a short drive away, you’ll find the iconic Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill (3 miles), often known as the Dragon’s Back for their striking ridgeline views. Follow the stone path, and down some steps, to enter the side of the cottage through the utility room; where you’ll find a practical space with washing facilities and space for coats and boots after a day exploring the surrounding hills. From here, move into the country-style kitchen – a welcoming room with painted cabinets and traditional charm. There is also a dining table and chairs for meals. Just beyond, up some steps, the lounge sits at the front of the cottage and is a wonderfully relaxing space.
