  • Sea Horse is a spacious side-by-side duplex villa located just 75 yards from the ocean, offering partial ocean and sound views from its second and third-level decks. Designed for relaxed coastal living, this 2-bedroom retreat comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests with a king master suite with a private bath and a queen bedroom that shares a bath with hallway bunks.

    The upper living level features a bright, open-concept layout with comfortable seating, dining space, a fully stocked kitchen, and a convenient half bath. An oceanside deck extends the living space outdoors, creating the perfect spot to unwind after a day in the sun.

    Guests have access to resort amenities, including a pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, private under-house entry, private parking, and outdoor hot and cold showers. Starter essentials like paper towels and toilet paper are provided to help you settle in with ease. Sea Horse is the ideal home base for your Hatteras Island getaway.

Nice stay

We had a nice stay. We liked how close it was to the beach. You do have a very small view of the ocean. This unit is right by the main road so the noise is the only downside. The outdoor shower didn’t work but otherwise everything was as listed.

Our house backed up to the road so that got a little noisey at night but wasn't terrible. The house had mostly everything you needed, the only thing we wish we had was a baking sheet but there were other alternatives to use. Overall, great stay.

Nicely furnished and maintained villa

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the 2 bedroom villa. Convenient beach access a short walk away. You get some water views which is nice but I would recommend the villa closest to the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time. Short walk to the beach. Short walk to pool and hot tub which the kids loved. Short walk to fish cleaning station. Basic accommodations but clean and functional which is exactly what we wanted. Unique view! Not ocean front but you can see the ocean in the distance and the bay from the same window! You can also see the lighthouse if you stretch a little. Only minor issues were that it was a little close to the road and road noise and didn't have an in house washer and dryer.

The houses were clean and supplied with everything we needed. We especially liked being able to access each unit through the upper deck so we were separate but together. I highly recommend Lighthouse View! We hope to return in the near future!

Great Family Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at Lighthouseview for several years, so we knew what to expect. We were in a duplex with a kitchen, living area, two bedrooms and bunk beds in a hall space. We were extremely comfortable overall. Two persons for the king bed, and two would be comfortable with the queen. I had two fully grown sons along, so one slept in the top bunk bed. Other than privacy, he had no complaint. The only issue we ever have at this location is that the people who fish dominate the beach, casting multiple lines from the beach and blocking access for nonfisher people. Regardless, we'll be back.
