Il "Nook" è un cottage recentemente rinnovato che vanta caratteristiche tradizionali con decorazioni in stile contemporaneo, creando una vera atmosfera familiare in tutto e si trova nel cuore di Tideswell.

Questo accogliente cottage in pietra a metà terrazza costruito in pietra è l'ideale per le famiglie (e il vostro cane) che può ospitare fino a 6 persone su 3 piani, con 2 camere matrimoniali (1 king size) e una camera a castello che può ospitare 2, tutte servite da una nuova bagno che ospita un bagno con doccia, lavandino e WC. Tutte le camere dispongono di TV, inclusa la camera a castello che è predisposta per l'HD, quindi puoi portare la tua Play Station / XBox o utilizzare il lettore DVD integrato (ci sono oltre 80 DVD tra cui scegliere).

Al piano inferiore c'è una cucina completamente attrezzata con forno a microonde, frigorifero / congelatore, lavastoviglie, forno elettrico e piano cottura, lavatrice e tavolo da pranzo e sedie per ospitare 6.

La sala è molto accogliente con il suo masterizzatore, 2 divani, smart TV digitale, lettore DVD, BT illimitato gratuito Wi-Fi, musica Amazon gratuita attraverso "Alexa" e una selezione di libri, DVD e giochi da tavolo che lo rendono ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata trascorsa nel Peak District.

All'esterno sul retro c'è un cortile in comune con deposito chiuso per biciclette o carrozzine ecc.

Il cottage è dotato di riscaldamento centralizzato a gas, gestito da un termostato Hive. Asciugamani e biancheria da letto saranno forniti all'interno del noleggio. È disponibile un parcheggio lungo la strada immediatamente fuori dal cottage, che è illimitato e gratuito. Siamo spiacenti, ma è vietato fumare nel cottage e è consentito solo un cane ben educato.

Il cottage è solo un paio di minuti a piedi dai servizi locali tra cui, ristoranti, pub di campagna, 2 negozi di pesce e patatine fritte, cooperativa, ufficio postale, panetteria, macellerie e numerose sale da tè. Dai un'occhiata ai pub e ai ristoranti online in quanto hanno ottime valutazioni e sono tutti a pochi passi di distanza!

Immerso nel cuore del Parco Nazionale di Peak District, questo cottage è in posizione ideale per passeggiare e andare in bicicletta, con la sua posizione centrale e la vicinanza alla città termale di Buxton, la città mercato di Bakewell, le famose grotte di Castleton e Chatsworth House e Haddon Hall è raggiungibile in meno di mezz'ora, questo è il posto perfetto per esplorare questa zona.

We loved this little town! Absolutely beautiful and lots of options for eating. The Nook was perfect for our family of 4. Lots of space and very comfortable.

We had 3 lovely nights in The Nook, it was conveniently located close to all amenities. As we had a dog it would have been helpful to know where to take him to do he's business, as the property doesn't have a garden. The kitchen window and door could do with a blind as it would give some privacy, also on the front door window, maybe a little curtain. Could also do with some new towels and bed linen, as they seem a bit worn and dated. These are only minor issues and we would definitely stay here again. The village has 3 pubs , a co-op , a bakery, a chip shop, it has everything you require all in close proximity. The Star inn is a great homely place to dine out. Thanks Tideswell, we will be back.

The location of the property was good, The property was very cramped for 4 adults a teenager and young boy . We were expecting a patio area where we could sit but found it belonged to a (very unfriendly)neighbour. However we took our grandsons to the park next door. We cleaned the shower curtain on arrival as lt had mildew on the bottom, also had to clean the washing machine before we could use it . Overall we felt that the standard could have been higher considering the amount of money we paid...i dont mean this as a criticism, i just feel that i needed to be honest.

The Nook is a wonderful home for holidays. It is well situated in the beautiful Peak District. Tideswell is a nice town with a co-op, a very good bakery and possibilities for having meals in the evening. The cottage is well equipped, the communication with Caroline was very friendly and she answers very quickly. We had a wonderful holiday.

We had a wonderful time, myself 3 teens and our dog. Didnt realise the courtyard wasnt enclosed but just meant we had to keep hold of the dog . Great base to explore the area. Lovely fish & chips from opposite the church. A lovely stay.c

Wir haben eine tolle Woche verbracht.Das Cottage ist sehr gemütlich.Der Kontakt mit Caroline sehr nett. Im Dorf ist alles was man braucht in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I was really impressed with this cottage, it was more spacious than expected and it had everything I needed. I came to Tideswell for a writing retreat and it was so lovely and peaceful with beautiful walks and great pubs. I highly recommend the Nook and would definitely go back.

Nicely decorated and furnished cottage. Loads of utensils and cookware in the kitchen. Road a little busy during the day with large lorries and farm vehicles but doesn’t impact on the cosy cottage environment.

This cottage had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. Like going from home to home. When I needed to contact the owner she responded very promptly. Directions and instructions on getting in the cottage were clear and sent in a timely manor. Cottage was clean and well maintained will definitely be returning.

Everything you need is right there. Both in the property and in the surrounding areas. Go out the front door and turn right, there are 4 pubs all well great good and dog friendly. Brilliant chippy (Elliotts) and cafes, co op etc but it is still a beautiful sleepy village with a lovely church and all in walking distance. The nearest trail (that we found) is 1.2 miles drive heading out past the post office. Look for signs for picnic area. Great to let the dog run free. The cottage has everything you need and is really well presented. We would definitely return. Many thanks Chris and Karen

lovely little cottage, says it can accommodate 6, however living area and kitchen would definitely be a squeeze for 6. Bathroom is very small and although adequate again not big enough for 6 people, and has no extractor fan. Has everything you need. however kitchen is lacking a decent bottle opener, bedding could do with an upgrade, bobbled due to use and washing. Beds are too soft for our liking however they are adequate. Only one key for each door and not up to fire precautions for exiting. All that being said lovely cottage and had a great break.

Had a great time, only stayed a couple of days but packed a lot in. Wanted to show the boys the delights of the Derbyshire Dales. Poole's Cavern was a hit as were the hills above Abney. Rowsley Station was interesting even though we just missed the last train. Cottage had every thing we needed, well situated.

The road was very busy my daughter had her wing mirror broken off. It was hard to stop the dog going upstairs as there was no stair gate but we did keep all doors closed. Very nice cottage though
