Florence & Pierre open the doors of an authentic, picturesque winegrowers' house dating from 1654 (one of the oldest in the area), steeped in history & fully restored, nestled on the immediate edge of the vineyards, on a small wine estate. "family" of the Côtes Châlonnaises (farmed "organically" in "Montagny" vintage), neighboring the very elegant 19th century "master's" residence which they occupy. Peace & tranquility in the countryside, nestled "on a balcony" on the hillside, on a well-exposed "eastern" hillside, in the heart of a charming little typical rural hamlet nestled in a cul-de-sac. Magnificent preserved landscaped setting, in the hollow of a bucolic valley of vineyards nestled under a wood, a stone's throw from gentle meadows. Sumptuous panorama of the Val de Saône & Mont-Blanc appearing in the background on a clear day. Beautiful site, 100% relaxing, overlooking the charming medieval & commercial village of Buxy nestled in its ancient heart-shaped ramparts (listed Romanesque church from the 12th century, fortifications, castles, towers, etc.) offering numerous amenities & leisure facilities. Printemps à Davenay

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et reposant à Davenay. Le gîte du cuvage est confortable et bien équipé. Nos hôtes étaient très serviables et discrets. Depuis le jardin, la vue sur les vignes, Buxy, la vallée de la Saône et jusqu'au Mont-Blanc est magnifique. La région offre de nombreux chemins de randonnée et villages à visiter.
