Cozy Wooden Cottage by the Sioni Lake

Our cozy cottage is located by the Sioni Lake, on a peaceful valley. It’s a perfect place, for those wishing to escape the crowded cities and be surrounded by greenery. You will wake up with the birds chirping in the morning, gaze at the stars at night, feel the breeze, listen to the sounds of nature and enjoy the incredible view over the Sioni Lake through your cozy bedroom.

To ensure you're fully satisfied with your stay, please spend a moment reading the listing details and house rules carefully.

Its a tiny cottage, 30 square meter in total (included 6 sq m antresole).

Please do not expect something luxurious, its a real rural, countryside experience, walks in fresh, crisp air, far from the crowded cities, coniferous forests, amazing landscapes and hiking routes around. you will often see the cows and sheep in a streets.

THERE ARE TWO WOODEN COTTAGES NEXT TO EACH OTHER, RENTED SEPARATELY. the yard and grill will be shared with other guests.

As your host, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful family memories in our cozy wooden cottage.

Everything what you find in our house, is for your serve and comfort so use them and take care of them like yours.

Q: Location?
A: our wooden cottage is located by the Sioni Water Reservoir or as locals call it Sioni Lake, 65 km away from Tbilisi.

Q: how to get to Sioni?
A: if you are going to use public transport, there are "Marshutkas" going from Tbilisi to Sioni, 3 times a day from the Metro Station Didube and Samgori. the price is GEL 5, it's about 2 Euros.

Q: how to get to the cottage?
A: Couple of days before your stay, I will send you the short video, how to get from the central stadium (located on the central road / in the center of Sioni) to our cottage. In this area the streets has no numbers and even the names, the gogle map doesn’t work well, so that’s why the video is only option to get to the cottage.

The distance from the stadium to our place is about 450 meters, 3 minutes by car, 10 minutes by foot.
the road till our cottage is unpaved (about 200 meter) be prepared for a "dirty shoes" during the rainy days, because of the mud on the streets.
if it's gonna be heavy rainy day, better if you come with 4x4 car.

Q: Any markets close by?
A: there are 2 markets, within about 10-12 minutes walking distance, in a center of Sioni, please bring a cash, they do not accept the credit cards.

Q: Dining?
A: You have a well-equipped small kitchen, where you can cook your own meal.
PLEASE NOTE: there are no any farmer markets open during the autumn and winter, so be prepared and bring the fruit and vegetables from the closest city.

Q: Can I check-in earlier than 3 or Checkout later than 12?
A: We will do our best. Most days there’s someone checking in the same day there’s a checkout but we try & go above and beyond if this is requested.

Q: Smoking?
A: On the outside only & PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE.

Q: Parking?
A: Yes, you can park your car.

Q: Can we come and look at cottages?
A: One of the things that encourages our guests to stay at our wooden cottages is the fact that they have privacy, we would love to keep it that way. The property on which cottages are built is private. So we ask that you please follow the signs by holding distance from the cottages and refrain from taking photos of the cottages whilst we have guests there.

The bedroom is on "antresole" with a king sized bed.

BE SURE YOU ARE OK WITH:

- no Wi-Fi
- no wardrobe - only the shelves for your personal belongings
- We are not a hotel, we don't offer hotel services or 24/7. We are true Vbro experience. If you want a daily clean-up, please let us know couple of days prior arrival.

At the cottage you will find some books, magazines and basic art supplies.

we will appreciate if you follow our cottage rules:
- Check-in is at 3 pm. Check-out is by 12 am.
- No shoes in the house.
- No Smoking / vaping in the home.
- No unregistered guests overnight.
- No pets
- No parties
- Feel free to use the barbecue outside that is set up for our super guests’ leisure use only. Please clean up after yourselves and keep the grill clean.
- Please do not rearrange the furniture
