Cottage a Byfield

“Handy location and easy to find, large comfortable bed and a nice bed room.”

“We stayed in a really spacious clean modern dog friendly cabin! A nice driveway park next to the cabin, easy to moveuer from outside to inside. The deck was spacious with two bar stools overlooking the pond with ducks and geese. The deck has a breakfast bench so nice spot to enjoy a morning cuppa. The park was clean and very friendly staff. A great location to the beach access. We loved the decor and large tv to watch a night time movie! Our dog felt comfortable. The bathroom was nice with the...

“Very clean, quiet and easy to access. Only stopped for one night on the way up north. Pub up the road did nice meals too”

“We stayed 3 nights. Communication by text was excellent & made the check-in & out very smooth. The unit was in a lovely quiet location & easy walk to the beach plus had all the comforts of home, even a few cooking condiments for use as well. Will definately be on our accommodation list, when visiting Yeppoon again.”

“Our Salt 1 bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet & convenient. As it was only 1 bedroom it had a limited view of the beach from the balcony. It was easy to walk to the beach, kids play area, cafes, bars & restaurants. There was a great cafe downstairs, Jolt, for breakfast if needed. A close drive to other sightseeing spots.”

“Weather was okay for the stay”

“We arrived at 4.15pm to a closed reception. Two staff members outside were very unhelpful saying we were a late check in. We had not received the text message the man questioned me about. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The park amenities look very nice. The same man was in reception when I checked out and was very reticent then as well. Good park and cabin. Staff maybe need to be more helpful.”

“Booked an ocean view room. Got a room at the back overlooking a road. No allocated parking. No information when checking in about wifi password (it’s on the fridge which could have been relayed at check-in). Air con didn’t seem to cool the room. Steps from car park to lifts. No ramp for suitcases. No trolleys for assistance with multiple suitcases. No local information in the room. No phone to contact reception for queries. ”
