Oakes / Dale Hollow Lake / close to Eagle Cove and Star Point

Welcome to the Oakes, a spacious yet cozy home nestled in a beautiful partially wooded, park like setting. Star Pointe (4 miles) / Eagle Cove (2 Miles) Marina are both close for quick access from cabin. The home features 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 Queen and 1 double Size) with 2 full bathrooms, large living room with plenty of seating, TV, WiFi access for streaming with a well equipped kitchen and dining room. Pack Light and take advantage of the washer and dryer in the unit. Includes a large oversized covered and screen deck with additional seating and porch swing for relaxing summer evenings. There is also fire pit on property for s'mores and star gazing! We also offer two additional 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom cabins rentals on the property providing. Quiet hidden Gem!

Absolutely perfect for what we needed and more. Beautiful little place and very accommodating and close access to Dale Hollow, Lake. Can’t wait to go back again and definitely will in the near future.! Very impressed and one of the best places we have stayed in traveling for fishing tournaments!

Great cabin near Dale Hollow

We stayed there to boat during the July 4th weekend and had a great time. The cabin was near our marina, was spacious and well maintained. We hope to stay there again the next time we go.

Dale Hollow 2022

Our stay at the Oakes was amazing!! We love Dale Hollow. They have a screened in porch which i love for mornings and evenings. Was not far from several marinas. Steve and Pam even checked in on us not long after arrival to see if we needed anything. Quiet area and peaceful. Clean home was enough space and the air conditioning works great too!! Highly recommend would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!!!

This a great getaway. It was very clean and we had lots of room for our family. The screened in porch is so nice and a peaceful place to relax. Very easy check in and check out. Pam and Steve are excellent hosts. Would highly recommend!

Just What We Needed

My husband and I are "countryfied" and would much rather stay at a cozy and clean nook in the woods than a sterile and stuffy hotel. It was just what our family needed for a place to stay while having a memorial for our mother. The reason for the visit was a somber one but the cabin made our trip easier with all the space and amenities. We have a 17 month old and a month old and had no problems with the rooms. We loved the decor so much with its cute fishing theme. The shower in the king size bedroom was excellent, great water pressure and space. Will definitely consider using the place again for a future family visit!

BEST PLACE to stay!

This property was impressive! The photos don't do it justice. It has been well-maintained, the beds were amazing! We all slept so comfortably. The back porch....WOW!! Another great place to just hang out and listen to nature. A couple of the kids went out into the woods and saw some deer and one came right up to them! We will definitely stay here again and look forward to making another trip there.

Quiet and Comfortable

Thank you Pam and Steve...our stay at The Oakes was simply wonderful!! Any corespondance or questions we had were replied to immediately. The home is extremely comfortable; the softest beds and pillows I've ever experienced (having pain syndrome with sleep disorder this was HUGE!), plenty of room to spread out for alone time and come together for family time. We enjoyed the furnished/screened in porch very much; early morning coffee at the table, late morning reading or phone calls from the cushioned outdoor furniture, evenings sitting on the porch swing (wrapped in a warm sweater) enjoying the mountain air, the sounds of nature and quiet prayer of Thanksgiving. Cozy & clean

Nice place in a quiet wooded setting. Everything you need is provided in the house. Comfortable beds, nice screened porch. Only complaint was grocery stores in the area were not well stocked - being your own produce.
