A Perfect Stay - Aluna

Aluna is a charming riverfront cottage, offering a serene retreat for your beachside getaway in Byron Bay. Nestled on the banks of Belongil Creek and just steps away from Belongil Beach, it provides a picturesque setting for relaxation and adventure.

This bright, open-plan home features polished timber floors and offers scenic river views from multiple angles, fostering a warm and relaxing ambiance. Two of the home’s bedrooms – including the master – overlook the sparkling water, while the main bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower for your comfort.

Aluna is situated in a prime location on Childe Street, just a short stroll to the beach and nearby cafes – including the popular Treehouse bar and restaurant (160m) – or you can take a leisurely 2km walk to Byron Bay town centre. Experience the perfect coastal getaway at Aluna!

Simply Stunning
Gorgeous home in an idyllic setting with Belongil Creek as your backyard. Only a short few minute walk to the beach to enjoy our sunrise and sunset walks and a 5 minute drive into town. The home had all the comforts needed to enjoy our stay. Sitting in the backyard watching the natural beauty of the creek and surrounding wetlands, fish jumping, the bird life and the occasional Byron Solar train (very silent) crossing the nearby bridge made me feel like quoting Dale Kerrigan from the Castle "How’s the serenity? So much serenity" This simply stunning home is definitely the sweet escape everyone needs and deserves. The owners names their home Aluna which means Goddess of the Moon in Cajun. I am sure your family will enjoy Aluna's warm and comforting embrace as much as we did. Thank you

Paradise
This is our second stay here and it didn’t disappoint. Love this end of Byron, much more chilled and relaxed. The house is gorgeous and well equipped, and evening drinks on the rivers edge watching the sun go down is a major treat. We’ve rebooked for next year!

Perfect size for family of 4 or 5. Renovated home with fantastic eclectic Mexican style. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. AC would be an excellent addition.

Just perfect
What a great place - comfortable, close to the beach and far enough from town to have some peace and quiet. The river setting was perfect for sunset drinks and the beach was a 2 min walk. We loved it so much we’ve booked it for next year!

Surprising sanctuary
This well appointed and comfortable house is in a fairly bustling area, but walk through the house and you come to a gorgeous sanctuary right on the creek with views up to Mt Warning. As lovely as it looks in the photos! With the groovy Treehouse cafe just up the road, and easy walks to the beautiful Belongil beach, you can have the best of all worlds. A bit pricey but a lovely spot.
