1. Cardeal Suites & Apartments

Faro City Centre

“The property is walking distance from the bus or train station. Old town is nearby. There are many restaurants nearby which is very convenient. The property is very clean and modern. The room was spacious and the AC blows cold. Communication with the host was excellent. Thanks to Claudia who welcomed and checked us in. Great service and allowed us to check in early. Great place to stay is Faro. Highly recommend this place.”

2. Faro Central - Holiday Apartments

“Private apartment, managed by the hostel around the corner. Double bed in living room is a full size couch/futon (a 1.5 person bed). When we came in, the mirror was full of white foam, sprayed but never wiped. That was a quick remedy. Nice decoration. There was a very strong cleaning smell in the kitchen and bathroom and I could see a spray of it in the sink, like it was never rinsed (think Antikal, liquid descaler). That should have been rinsed. Apartment is one floor up, stairs only, good to...

6. Happy House - Central Apartment

Faro City Centre

“Only stayed for one night but accommodations were very clean and space worked well for our family of 5. It was nice that living room had a door which essentially made it a 3rd bedroom and my son said futon couch was comfortable. Each room also had a nice fan that kept us cool and comfortable. One complaint is that the shower water pressure was very poor. Lovely terrace that we wish we’d spent more time on!”

“The location is good and easy to park. Don’t forget to download the EasyPark app before you go. Nice host. Cleaning was lacking but I think that could be resolved as the host was responsive. Close to malls and theatre and one hour from beaches and algarve benagil caves. This is an apartment with lots of space and sleeps 4 easily. Nice to have a washer. AC was good and working. Netflix on tv was awesome. Good location for if you are renting a car.”

“Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet appartement. Tout est impeccable. De l’accueil avec Victoria jusqu’au départ. La cuisine avait tous les équipements que nous avions besoin pour nous préparer un bon souper. Le lit est de qualité, la literie était impeccable et les meubles en excellent état/neuf. Je recommande grandement cet endroit. Merci pour la qualité de l’hébergement car c’est dans le top 5 de tous les endroits que nous avons réservé à travers tous nos voyages .”

“A very secure, well appointed apartment with easy access to the pool (over the road) and marina. Diogo is an excellent host and communicates well. Fully functional air conditioning in all rooms which is a massive plus. Newly installed boiler had a water leak caught in a jug which we had to empty (Diogo aware and awaiting an engineer). Building work being carried out in upstairs flat during the first few days which created some noise in the mornings. They were the only negative points (and won't...

Dom Jose Beach Hotel

8/10 Buono

"It is probably one the only and best hotels in town; but do not expect a spa-pool-beach front five stars: specially because it is really affordable - recently renovated, basic, but decent! Spect tins of “retired Brit’s” drinking at the bar-lounge area day in, night out… "
