The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. “The property was not a 'cottage' as advertised but a top floor apartment. The property is a detached building split into 2 apartments. Tanglewood is the top apartment and Treetops is the bottom apartment. Tanglewood was a lovely, spacious and clean apartment with everything provided. I had trouble with the key box on arrival but the owner came out immediately to help me and then showed me around the apartment. Plenty of parking on the road outside.”
