“Cute, cozy room with a nice view of the countryside. Easy parking lot out back. Had dinner while we were there, which was excellent. Would recommend and stay again. ”

“I had a wonderful stay! The room was ever spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made the space feel even more welcoming. What stood out to me the most were the thoughtful little details around the place. For example, the shower head is thoughtfully positioned facing the wall, so when you turn on the water, you don’t get splashes unexpectedly. “The ensuite apartment is located at another building, just 2 mins walk from the reception. it is well equipped and very beautiful decoration. We had good time staying here. My mistake I overlooked that breakfast is not included, and it is not allowed to pay extra for the breakfast which disappointed us. ”

“The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes”

“Great location! A few minutes from the bus stop and in the centre of Newport. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The continental breakfast was ok, the coffee was good. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was amazing. Happy to recommend.”

“We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting...

“Lovely hotel, fantastic staff, my only slight negative is our room was at the top of the hotel with very low ceilings and I spent most of the time in the room having to duck or be otherwise hunched over. I'd definitely stay again though, but ideally not in that room.”

“We had a perfect break away from it all. The perfect place to totally unwind, we loved the place even with heavy rain for the whole time. There was really good breakfast every morning, fresh warm croissants, homemade jams and fresh fruit.”
