HOUSE RULES
1. CHECK-IN TIME
Please note that check-in time is at 4 pm. Early check-in is available for a fee of CAD$25 through the Enso Connect Boarding Pass.
2. BANFF PASS
The Banff Pass is provided complimentary for the entirety of your stay and must be returned to the unit prior to check-out to prevent a CAD $150 charge. Guests staying at the property must request a free Banff Pass by 4 pm on the day of check-in. Please note that one-night stays are exempt from this offer.
3. PARKING
We are not liable for any parking tickets incurred. Please follow the parking guidelines indicated in the check-in instructions. Ensure that your vehicle is free from leaks, especially oil or Excessive Uncleanliness charges may apply.
4. NOISE/CIGARETTE/CANNABIS DETECTION DEVICE
We receive electronic alerts regarding noise disturbances (above 70db) as well as cigarette/cannabis smoke, and any instances of equipment being unplugged or moved.
5. QUITE HOURS/NO PARTIES
a. Please show consideration for our neighbors by adhering to quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am. Note that noise levels exceeding 70 db will trigger detection.
b. To maintain a peaceful environment, parties, excessive drinking, and loud music are not permitted. In the event of a first warning for noise, parties, complaints or equipment tampering, a second warning will involve the manager to be sent on-site and potential eviction without a refund on the reservation or full deposit.
6. NO SMOKING/DRUG POLICY
Smoking, drug use, vaping, or using e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited inside the building, unit, and on the balcony, including any strong lingering odors such as marijuana. Any violations will result in a CAD$250 fine.
7. ENSO CONNECT
Enso Connect is a guest management platform that enhances the guest experience and verifies guests to protect our owner's investments. It is fully integrated into major booking platforms and is gaining popularity in the industry. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a personalized Boarding Pass link with check-in and check-out instructions, helpful stay information, and guides to local attractions and events.
8. DAMAGE
a. Before your check-in, we inspect the property for any existing damage, which is documented. Any new damage that occurs during your stay will be reported. Please ensure everything is in working order upon check-in and notify us of any damage.
b. Major Damage: You will be held legally responsible for the costs of any major damage, such as broken windows, that occurs during your stay.
9. SECURITY DEPOSIT OR WAIVER
To ensure coverage for any potential property damage or breaking of house rules during your stay, we require a deposit or waiver to be paid after confirmation of your booking.
You will have the choice between:
Security Deposit (CAD$600):
Pay a larger fee that is refundable upon no damage/breaking of house rules. The refund will go through in the form of a reversal. Depending on your card issuer, the original charge will disappear from your pending charges within 7-10 business days after check-out.
Damage Waiver (CAD$107):
Alternatively, you can opt to pay a smaller non-refundable fee to cover any minor damages that may occur during your stay. This option is favored by guests for its simplicity and the avoidance of any deductions from a security deposit.
Please note that we reserve the right to offer only the security deposit option at our discretion, particularly during large events, without prior notice.
10. NO SHOES INDOORS
Kindly refrain from wearing outdoor shoes indoors or excessive uncleanliness fees may apply.
11. EXCESSIVE UNCLEANLINESS
Please ensure the property is left in a satisfactory clean condition (free of excess garbage, mud, etc.) before checking out to prevent incurring a CAD$100 additional cleaning fee.
12. NO PETS
Strictly no-pets policy in place. A charge of CAD$150 will be applied for any violations.
13. COMPLAINT POLICY
Please adhere to our strict complaint policy as complaints may result in eviction without a refund on the reservation or full deposit.
14. BALCONY SAFETY
Please exercise caution on balconies, and supervise children at all times.
15. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
We do not accept liability for any accidents, illnesses, injuries, or deaths that may occur during your stay. If you identify any hazards within the property that could pose a risk to you or your group, please inform us promptly after check-in.
16. ENSO CONNECT VERIFICATION
As part of the verification process and before receiving check-in instructions, it is required that guests provide a copy of their government-issued photo ID, take a clear photo, submit credit card information for the damage deposit or waiver (processed via Stripe), and confirm contact information.
17. AGREEMENT
Prior to arrival, all guests who have confirmed their reservation must sign our Service Agreement, which outlines our full House Rules and company policies. Guests will be held accountable for adhering to these rules and policies.
18. LATE CHECK-OUT
Late check-out is available for a fee of CAD$25 through the Enso Connect Boarding Pass. Check-out is at 11 am, with a $100/hr charge for unapproved late check-outs.
19. MANAGEMENT SENT ON SITE
In the event of partying, loud noise, or violations of house rules, a manager may be sent onsite and guests will be told to leave with no refund on reservation or deposit.
