Had to request check in information Code to front door did not work notified owner Very foul smell in garage from garbage not removed Roku/TV dud not work . Made requests to owner for assistance and was not resolved despite our communications. Towels limited and old for number of people booked . Need new pillow and bedding . Tea towels and dish rags needed Towel rack off the wall . Holes in walls - need of repairs Very dusty . Hair on the floor and debris Sinks clogged - drain slow Location and number of bedrooms great for our families but have stayed in many vrbo that are better maintained

Nice place suited our 3 couples well. Very good supplies/necessities on hand. Could use some more kitchen ware. I would recommend this house. Host was very responsive.

Would give -5 stars if I could, the house is nothing like the pictures, there is no tv, well there’s tv but not able to watch anything on it, there’s mold on shower curtain, dishes were put away dirty, the outside table is almost dust. Tried to contact the host a bunch of times with no response, even messaged and called. So do not waste your money there is better things out there to rent. It’s just a ran down house. Oh yeah the garbages are over filled and the garage stinks of garbage and the walls have holes and marks in them everywhere, and the cooking supplies are garbage and falling apart. Don’t even plan on bbqing cause the bbq is also falling apart and rusted out and probably would blow up if use

Our family stayed here to go to the Stampede and see the lakes and such out in Banff. We enjoyed our time and the house was sufficient for what we used it for, which was sleep. We cooked breakfast most mornings but ate out the rest of the time. Pros: clean facilities (beds, floors, showers, furniture), comfortable beds, good wifi, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, open concept kitchen and living space, easy to get to, nice quiet neighborhood. Cons: difficult to get ahold of host for check-in instructions, holes in the walls, lack of homey decor, dysfunctional air conditioning upstairs (it got HOT), not enough furniture in living room, zero furniture in the other potential living/hangout spaces on the other floors, one of the showers would not drain, the grill was DISGUSTING, lack of decent cookware (ie. Pots, pans, coffee cups; coffee pot was temperamental and not clean inside), towels and shower curtains should be replaced, there are exposed and hanging cords in the livingroom (this would be completely unacceptable if there were children here), the deck is VERY small-barely room for 4 adults to sit at the small flimsy table. Lastly, the trash situation is terrible, the trashcan in the garage was packed full and there were 2 bags next to it before we put any trash in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It's an affordable option, just remember you get what you pay for.

If you are considering staying here, don’t do it!! Look some where else… I’m not sure where to begin on how disappointed we were with this rental. It has to be the worst rental we have stayed in yet. Other than it being a large house with multiple rooms to host there is nothing else to offer. This house was not cleaned and taken care of to the point it should be for a rental. The sheets on all the beds were old and stained all over including paint on the sheets. There are multiple holes in the walls as well as broken blinds. There were sticky counters and side tables along with bottle caps in some of the bedrooms and on the deck. There was a pocket knife beside one of the cushions on the couch. The Tv has cords hanging all over which is dangerous for kids and yet the TV does not even work. There were no dish rags to clean dishes or clean towels to use. The garbage was pilled high in the garage along with broken glass in the garage. We are expected at the end to take out the garbage but there is no where to put it since the garbage is pilled so high. We are also required to start the dishwasher but there is no dishwasher detergent to do so. The house was extremely hot one day but they have the thermostat locked so you cannot change it so our babies were sweating in their beds. Along with many other issues I could continue to list. On top of all this if you try to contact the owner for any assistance she does not answer. Please do your self a favour and do not stay here.

Great place for a family vacation. Open kitchen so family members always in touch. Comfy bedrooms. One downside, only one working shower in main bathroom. However working bathtubs in all bathrooms if that's your thing.

We had a good experience at this property. It wasn't fancy but it provided the things we needed, which were a number of bedrooms and bathrooms, a convenient location, kitchen and air conditioning. Beds were comfortable and it was great to have so many bedrooms as we had a number of family members on our trip. They were a good size and were nice and quiet except for some complications with doors banging open and shut in the master bedroom. We resolved that by propping suitcases in their way so they wouldn't open and close all night - guess it was fairly windy in the area. The kitchen was pretty well equipped - the little butlery was a great place to store our food. Was awesome to have a washer and dryer too! The living room area was a little small for all of us. It only seats 5, so we couldn't all sit and watch tv together. It would have been awesome to have more than one tv so we could all sit and relax, but still, it was very comfy for those who were in the area. We found the area to be extremely convenient and close to the different things we wanted to do. Not too far from WEM! Overall we would recommend the home and largely enjoyed our stay :)

Upon arrival, the outside temperature was -12 and the house was at a chilly 15 ….no heating was on in spite of our arrival being well known in advance AND the weather having been below freezing for a week! Upon contacting the owner to activate the use of the gas fireplace (it was taped shut off) it took a number of attempts to reach her ( calls went directly to voice mail). We remained very uncomfortable with a very cold 2 year old for much too long. The rental amenities state TV cable service is included….. when asked about it we were told that this is not the case and that only streaming thru Roku device was available. When we tried to connect our personal devices to said Roku, the unit was paired to a Samsung TV which was not even in the house. The only TV was an LG thereby making our own streaming impossible. This was totally unacceptable for the males in our group. This is NFL games time and Calgary is a well known hockey town. Visiting family from Scotland were totally p****ed off that we were unable to enjoy a sports night together! We brought this to the attention of the owner with an ask that this be remedied during our stay to view Thursday night’s game. We heard NOTHING back from the owner since Day 1 of our stay! Glasses, Dishes and cooking pots (only one had a fitting lid) were totally inadequate for our 8 guests. Two basement bedrooms had ZERO OPERATIONAL OUTLETS! This was a real problem when we had to resort to portable heaters …..had to buy extensions to plug in! Many of the main floor light bulbs were out and some more on the blink. THESE DEFICIENCIES HAVE MADE FOR AN EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING POST WEDDING FAMILY WEEK IN CALGARY. IN SPITE OF THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND SUB-PAR AMENITIES …WE LEFT THE HOUSE IN THE OWNERS REQUESTED CONDITION AND NOW THINK IT IS ONLY REASONABLE TO ASK THAT A CREDIT OF 50% BE APPLIED TO OUR ACCOUNT.

The property is great, clean and located near the grocery stores and other commercial establishments. 2-3 hours away from banf and other tourist spot. 15-20 minutes away from the airport. Neighborhood is quiet and clean. If I had to be picky, the main door's keypad lock is hard to use and it would take a whole lot of hail Mary to close it from the outside. So we used the garage doors instead when exiting/entering the property. Also there are 2 rooms at the basement that are locked. The owner said that it is a storage room. However, it really made us uncomfortable thinking what if something/someone else is in there. After a few days, we just gave up overthinking and had fun anyway. One of the shower drain upstairs is a little clogged. Not really concerning but could use some plumbing services to make sure it doesn't flood in the future. There are also a lot of deep dings and scratches on the wall (bedrooms/kitchen/stairs/living room/etc). I guess this is expected from rental properties. Besides this, the property is really clean and have good amenities. The owner is very responsive and I would definitely rent this property again should we come back to Alberta.

Nice big house plenty of rooms, not enough amenities for the home. Not enough towels for everyone, no kitchen towels, dish cloths or face cloths. Few dishes, pots, pans. Limited cleaning supplies. Sparse furniture. Relatively clean good price.

House was dirty. Garbage in the garage, bins left out front. All towels dirty. Sheets were wet on the beds. No extra blankets in the linen closet despite having a futon bed. Furniture in house broken or not functional or very sparse.

We were delighted with all the bedrooms/bathrooms that this property had to offer. Our stay was comfortable and everything worked well. Only tip: we forgot to pick-up instant coffee, however we did have tea. We only ate breakfast at this location, and were out all day.

The house was Beautiful and in a great area of the city. We really enjoyed our stay with plenty of room for everyone. Great clear instructions and all the amenities. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend for a larger group as a great place to stay when in Calgary.
