Awesome place to stay!

This property was super clean, easy to get to, and we enjoyed staying there! Would definitely recommend to others visiting the area! House was fully stocked, and we were very happy with our time there!

Cute and Cozy Cottage

Loved our stay. Property was clean and inviting. Very well stocked kitchen. Super convenient to have the gas station/convenience store just a few steps away. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Boat House. It was extremely clean and comfy! Was only a 45 minute drive to Banff!

Great visit

We had a great stay! The beds were super comfortable and communication with the owner was quick and helpful. Although we were there in the heatwave and there is no A/C, the provided fans and cool night breeze made it comfortable. The close by convenience store was an added bonus.

Beautiful and Peaceful

This place was such a hidden gem. We had trouble locating the place both on google maps and directions through vrbo, but once we called the owner and he told us to google ghost camping and storage, it was easy. The place is decorated like HGTV, and they have stocked it with absolutely everything you will need. And yard and fire after dark is just perfect with the view. Thank you so much for having us :)

Lovely property

We were quests for 3 nights. The property is conveniently located 20 minutes west of Cochrane, just off the 2A highway. The property is private, very well maintained, and very nicely appointed. Our host, Mike, was very responsive to our 1 inquiry. He explained what was happening with the situation we were experiencing and was very much on top of things. I would not hesitate to rent this property again or to recommend it to others. Thanks, Mike, we had a great stay.

A surprisingly cozy cottage

The property itself is breath taking. Even though there is construction equipment around the house the view of the forest is more than enough to make up for it. It is quite secluded and we never had any problems with noises of cars passing by. There was a little problem with tiny spiders getting in the house, but that was only because the door does not close easily. The owner himself is not great at replying to questions, but the lady that gave us the key, and the lady that was getting the place ready for us were quite helpful and knowledgeable. The amenities are very nice, and guests are provided with ample towels, cutlery, and satellite TV. Overall this is a great place that I would recommend to those looking for a weekend getaway, or those looking for a longer vacation.

Very disappointed. We booked four nights at Ghost Country Cottage, but ended up cutting our stay short after one night. The cottage is located next to a gas station and caravan park, and is currently in the middle of a construction site. This was not clear from the online listing and photographs. The cottage was spacious and well equipped, but the shower didn't work properly and the cleanliness of the cottage was only OK. We didn't receive entry details from the host in advance so I had to message them. To be fair they did respond quickly. We were a little disappointed with the cottage itselfand very disappointed with the surroundings, especially as this was not made clear by the online listing.

Good place for Relaxing Around an Excellent Fire Pit

Was a great get away. Only minor issue was the doors all need to be adjusted as they are hard to open and close.
